A couple for me recently: 1. A combo SV and NSV: Despite Thanksgiving, I still lost 1 lb this week! I made healthier versions of foods, and even though I ate quite a bit, I didn't exceed maintenance that day, or overindulge to the point of binging, so I'm proud of myself! 2. I've always loved dressing up: clothing…

Hey thanks, I appreciate the response, any insight is helpful. And I'm glad you (and your arm) are doing better! o:) I'm relatively optimistic, but it's been hard for me to gauge what I could expect.

Get under 180 by my birthday next month. 3.5 lb in 4.5 weeks. Seems very doable! B)

I'm going for 170 (medium frame). Highest ever was 275+, started here at 240. Been hanging between 190-200 lately.

Soda and fruit juice. Well, not completely, but I'd say it's close to 99% gone from my diet. Made a huge difference in calorie intake - besides, my teeth can't handle that much sugar anymore.

I'm 5'7, medium-framed, and I weight about 20 lb. more than I look. I freaked out a gym trainer once because of that. ;P

I've been getting this a lot from someone lately. They're on a doctor-monitored diet and are losing faster than me, so that must make me and my methods inferior. I guess a loss of 75lb in a year (almost 40 of that was the past 6 months on MFP) is nothing to be proud of, eh? ;P Lol. I didn't need a stinkin' doctor to tell…

Keep it up, you're doing great so far! PS - I'd kill to get that kind of loss in my legs.

Dante/Nero - DMC4 (as for the new version - wtf, Ninja Theory?) Chris Redfield - RE5 Nathan Drake I also fancy me some Norman Jayden In a weird sort of way, Soap in MW3 and Cole Phelps in L.A. Noire. I'd go for Squall if he wasn't such a whiner. Also: no mention of John Marsten? Dirty gunslingin' cowboys don't do it for…

Amazing work, dude. It's nice to know that there are folks out there that are serious about their goals but have a great sense of humor about it. I know I'd lose my damn mind if I didn't get in a few laughs. /twothumbsup

I don't photoshop my own pictures, but I'll happily do it for other people, or just paint regular pictures.

Tortillas. Soft-taco size is 110 a piece, but when I eat tacos I tend to inhale them. Not fun. I've tried making my own tortillas and they turn out icky, so I just take it easy on them overall.

What the hey, I've come this far already. Heaviest Ever: 275 SW: 241 CW: 209 Goal [Christmas] Weight: 189 Ultimate goal: 170

My son is 8 and crazy-picky, so I do a couple of things. 1.) With new food, I do the "try it before you decide you hate it" routine. 2.) If he doesn't want what I make for meals, he can eat raw fruits/vegetables, with no dessert or snacks. I learned early on that letting him go hungry isn't going to do us or him any favors…

<---- In school for video game art. Don't know if that qualifies, but I was in the mood to post.

Sag here, Taurus husband. Work together just fine. (I was a former astrologer) Opposite sides of the Zodiac isn't necessarily ideal - they are polarized, so it really will depend on the individuals involved if the relationship works out. They can be best friends or worst enemies.

I swear sometimes it actually takes more effort to intentionally misspell or abbreviate.

The only thing that has helped me is antibiotics, vitamin C, teas, and some type of purified water. I'll take an ibuprofen as soon as it starts, along with huge doses of C, and it seems to keep it at bay until I can get rid of the infection. I have recurring toothaches (because I don't have money to get all the dental work…

The only "brand name" I liked was Hot Topic, but this was 15 years ago when they still had clothes I liked, but the stuff was always expensive. I never bought much from that store for that reason. They've changed, man... Had plenty of friends that were all about brand names. Never understood it.

You've done a fantastic job! P.S. - Love your style. =D

Noooooo, not Col. O'Neill!! ... well, on second look, he could probably redeem himself - just some extra poundage, and at least he seems happy. If it were bad/excessive surgery and drugs, then that's another story. On the flip side, hand over the Kiefer.

^^ Yup. Ahh, Oregon Trail Day at school. Other days it was Number Munchers.

Y'all look fantastic, it does give me hope. :) Pre-pregnancy, I was about 180; I'm 5'7 with a very big frame, so I was mostly skinnyfat with a little muscle. Got up to about 220 with my kid (he was almost 10 lbs though, and my doc said I was healthy - btw, no C-section). I let myself go for 7 years after that, but since…

A year's worth of pizza! Mmmm, pizza. Dangit, now I'm hungry.

Minor NSV: I can feel my hip bones again! Major NSV: My husband said to me, "I can tell you've been losing weight, but it really hit me today just how different you look. I'm really proud of you for sticking with it." (This is a big win for me because i'm a habitual starter-quitter.) And I'm nowhere near done yet. :D

A long time ago the comments were hurtful (whether intentionally that way or not), but they never did me any good. I've grown a thicker skin over the last 10 years (figuratively AND literally), so the rare times a comment is made to me, I've had to train myself to turn on the "prove them wrong" switch. I come from a…

SoCal with a dash of Austinite. I've only been out here a little over 3 years, but when I get angry or talk over the phone, I get a bit of a drawl. An older gent at the store told me that "I talk like a Yankee, but sound like a Rebel."

Congrats, you look great! =) Seems your starting and goal weights are almost the same as mine - I'm a big girl, too. Hope I look that good when i get there!
