  • You are certainly not alone. I am in the same exact boat. I manage to watch what I eat for a few days, do good, and then it just goes down hill from there. I've lost over 40 lbs previously so I KNOW that I can do it but like you, am just lacking that motivational piece. It really is more of a mental commitment than…

  • thanks for your replies! I've been kinda going OCD about the sugar levels! i just dont want to consume all this sugar because sugar turns to fat and thats what i'm trying to eliminate! I think I will just stick to keeping an eye on my carb levels (which I'm always under anyway). Thanks for all of your input!

  • i was just on the threads to try and get ideas for new free video workouts and after reading your post about blogilates, i went onto their website and before i knew it, i did the pop pilates and a pop cardio session. THANK YOU for suggesting this site, its awesome and i love the chicks personality...very easy for me to…
  • I used to do Jillian's 30 day shred, did it for 1 year actually, got bored..so now I make up my own exercises and actually sweat a ton more than I did with Jillian, which is very surprising. I have found that reverse crunches work my abs (especially lower abs which is the area I wanted to work). I lie on my back, lift legs…

  • As another poster said, wholesale stores such as Costco's or BJ's are GREAT for families. My boyfriend and I go there even though its just the 2 of us because in the long run, we save so much money. We go there and buy healthy request soup, cans of tuna in water, saltine crackers, granola bars, huge packs of chicken breast…
  • This DVD is simpy amazing!! Even though its called 30 day shred, I've been doing it for 365 days now...and have had tremendous results! No lie..she will hand your *kitten* to you! BUT, it challenges your body like nothing I've experienced before. In the beginning, I had to breaks here and there until I got used to the…
  • I actually went through this very thing with Jillian's 30 Day Shred! When I first started, I could not breath and had to stop as well. However, after several weeks of doing it, I've really built up my tolerance, am on level 2 without stopping at all and it feels amazing! But when I had the shortness of breath due to asthma…
  • Panic attacks are not by any means, fun. So many of us experience them unfortunately. They are horrifying and you feel like you're body is shutting down..scary stuff. I would talk to your doctor to see what your options are. Whenever I feel one coming on (if I can..most of the time they just spring up out of nowhere…
  • I googled it and saw a lot of people saying that you lose approx 200 or so calories (of course this depends on your body weight), and then i added it as an exercise on here, so that when i do it i just click "Jillian 30 Day Shred" and it adds it on for me :)
  • Nope, you can't..at least not that I'm aware of. And it definitely is quite annoying when you're ready to bust out your workout!
  • I have bought a ton of workout DVDs to date and by far, Jillian is the best. She will absolutely, no lie, work you pretty hard but you see results! I bought 30 day shred and highly recommend it. I have recommended this DVD to a lot of people because I truly believe its one of the best. There are definitely times during…
  • baby carrots with lite ranch dressing OR peanut butter nature valley fruit and nut granola bars triscuits clemintines apples pop chips just a few of my favs
  • Simply amazing! You should be so proud of yourself! That motivation is the key to success..as you already have experienced!! Congratulations on your loss!
  • my go-to for protein is mostly peanut butter. before every workout i'll have a slice of wheat toast with peanut butter, and it has been helping me tremendously.
  • I just finished an intense workout and had a whole grain pita pocket with veggies and a sprinkle of cheese and of course---H20!! However sometimes I'll also have a slice of turkey in a pita or tortilla (wrap-style) with a few pretzels...definitely satisfies that hunger without overdoing it :)
  • You look fabulous!! Great work! Its not an easy road, thats for sure, but if you set your mind to it, you can do it. And you have. Congrats to you, you should be very proud of yourself! Thanks for posting...very nice of you to do because we all can use some motivation!! Keep up the terrific work!
