  • 1. Put it on everything ;) 2. Recently discovered it can be a great Mayo substitute! I had a can of tuna & mashed the avocado up in it, added some chopped celery and voila! SO good! Didn't miss the mayonnaise at all! 3. Put it on everything =D -- with eggs, on sandwiches, chopped in a tomato/cucumber salad, on tacos, with…
  • Ok thanks! I can only do a couple of push ups, so I definitely need to keep at it LOL.
  • Ditto!! Cajun all the way!, If you have a mango salsa that is yummy to add -- or I love it Cajun style with some avocado. YUM!
  • It's always a mind game -- you just gotta know how to play it  Anytime I don't feel like working out or running, I tell myself just go for a walk, or just do the elliptical on a lower setting, basically allowing myself to have a lazy workout  . But I swear, everytime I do that, I wind up getting a real…
  • 5'9" CW 155lbs, my body is "comfortable" between 140-145, but I want to push it to 135. I have a small bone structure so I know at 135 I will be the most fit I can be :)
  • if you have access to a gym I'd say walking on an incline (10) at a moderate pace and the stair climber would be a good way (the one where the stairs actually rotate so it's like you are climbing them)! Even the elliptical machine if you have it at the right incline and add some good resistance (at least 8). I am a runner,…
  • Yes it absolutely works! But like other people have said, you have to be committed to logging and eating healthy if you want to be losing! Its not a diet, there are no special "do it fast" methods, its plain old eating healthy and working out. That's it! But you have to stick to it. Best of luck!

  • I have two German Shepherds that I run with (1 on each side).. And the main things I have found to make sure we have a good run are this: 1. I don't let them stop and sniff trees etc. If I did, we would never get any sort of momentum going and they would be leading my run, when it should be the other way around. I am…
  • yes absolutely! there is this skinny chick with the most perfect body at the gym every day. and EVERY DAY she is on the freakin stair master (the revolving stair one) for like an HOUR! and on the FAST speed!!! I seriously don't how she does it! :noway: All i do know, is that she definitely deserves the banging body that…
  • OMG look at you! That is amazing! Congrats~ It is pretty crazy what a healthy diet and exercise lifestyle can do for you huh? LOL But its the perserverance that is by far the hardest. So big huge Congrats to you Lady!!! :drinker:
  • ranch flavored rice cakes are sooo good!!!!!!!!!
  • i just got into liking greek yogurt! I use the plain kind, and yes it is bitter and sourcream-ish tasting so I add 1 packet of splenda and fresh berries. Now that I am used to it (i've only had it for 2 days now haha) i LOVE it! I don't mind the slightly bitter or tart taste it has because it is so thick and creamy I feel…
  • drank too much wine last night. then got snacky. gah! went WAY over in my calories. looks like even though I leave calories for wine, I can't help but keep drinking and eating when friends come over with more! guess i'm going to officially join the "no drinking on the weeknights" club LOL My official request: Hi! I'm…
  • yes absolutely! in your face especially! thats awesome, keep up the great work!!
  • i would rather under estimate than over estimate--so I go with what the HRM says.. I justed tested it today actually. I usually go running (jogging) for appx 35 minutes and i type in speed 5.2 (i think i go faster than that, but the next option up is definitely too fast) MFP says I burn 360. So today I did my same run but…
  • hard boiled eggs for sure (I make 5 every sunday night so that they are ready for the whole week) yogurt + berries (the night before I always put yogurt in tupperware with berries in it so I can grab and go in the morning) almonds (i buy the small pre-packaged kind and always carry a bag or two in my purse, its not exactly…
  • I'm new to this thread, but I read it all the time, and i TOO am a wine-aholic. oh god i love my wine.. I am proud though, that for the first 3 weeks of being on MFP I have managed to allow enough calories a day to not have to give up my 2 glasses of wine a night :O) .. (except for this weekend. I went to a Carrie…
  • its so true!! I do that all the time!! then if you reaaaaaaaaaaaallly want it to taste like apple pie, sprinkle a little bit of maple & brown sugar oatmeal on it. YUM!
  • Holy cow!! NO JOKE. you look SOOOO good! Really amazing! Congrats on all your hardwork!!!
  • I choose every other week.. that way (although its more of a mental game) I feel like my odds of losing are better LOL
  • Its so true!!! finding time to work out is the hardest.. but there is ALWAYS a way to make it happen, especially if you really want it you will find a way to do it! For me-- I am that "I'm not a morning person" LOL at least when it comes to working out (probably the same reason as you--its WAY too hard to get out of bed…
  • Ok, so I USED TO HATE cottage cheese..... but that was until I tried it with FRITOS! Seriously~!! Its SO GOOD!! The big huge scoops ones! Now, although that defeats the purpose of trying to eat cottage cheese (in a healthy way), it will at least get you to possible like it! I can now eat low fat cottage cheese all by…
  • if you log them as "circuit training" then you will get calories
  • OMG! You look incredible! That's amazing! I am doing P90x right now, but have the same problem most do, and thats thinking you have to follow it exactly like their schedule says! I'm only 2 weeks into it, hoping to stick with it (this time LOL). If anything, all I want to do is to complete the program, but I'm usually only…
