Just to let you know it does get easier. I started running with C25K 2 years ago and struggled. I now run 3 or 4 miles easily and running 3 Half marathons this year although I'm still very slow. One tip I found was to go really slow at first. You might walk quicker than you run but your will get faster once your body gets…

I would also suggest that you try and finish C25K first before you try something else. The reason for this is that most of us runners have come to understand that the first 10/15 mins are known at the toxic 10 and many of us struggle for the first mile. I can run 5-7 miles easily now but still struggle for the first 20…

The only time I don't run is when its icy out and like to run in the rain.I did put a frantic call into my hubby during a bad storm this winter as it started hailing and although on the way out it was hitting my back as face of ice on the way home was not nice.

Made the mistake of having chinese last sunday and today is the first time my muscles have not felt like they have done a marathon before even leaving the house. My stomach is usally the first to clea up - normally 24/48 hours, then my asthma and lastly muscle/joint problems.

I've seen the price of maple syrup recently so can I swapped to treacle instead? Love both on my pancakes.

I'm gluten free due to coeliacs but we have normal stuff in the house for the kids. Most the main meals we cook are gluten free but the rest of the meals we tend to eat what ever we like. The only thing we have to watch for is the kids using my jams and spread etc and I have to have mine separate plus I cant use the…

Good Luck. Think I'll stick with what I'm doing.

I dont as I have quite a severe reaction.

I also find adding some honey ( especially the manuka kind) can help ease stuff especially as I always end up with a sore throat. I agree with the peppermint tea and fennel/liquorice can also help with lower intestinal pain. I usually does up on pain meds and sleep as much as possible. Hot water bottle is great to curl…

Some months the first day or so its seems harder but I battle on.

I would make an appointment. Ignore the receptionist as they are not medically trained. Just book an appointment. I book them all the time and if its not urgent they never ask what it is for. Also your practice may have Nurse who specialises in weight loss so ask the doctor when you go.

Very interesting post. I was wondering if you can get away without the Tahini (allergies) and so glad that you can. May try and make some at the weekend.

Yes I can understand why you are upset and especially with the attitude of the person changing it but does it really matter? Is your only incentive to working so hard the fact that you may get your name on a board in a gym? Think of all the reason why you are doing this and i think you will find there are much bigger…

+1 I'm only 5'5 and 180lbs but have two half marathons this year plus about 10 more 10ks. I started out at 245 lbs and yes it was a slow process but I now love running . You clearly know to get the right shoes etc so go out and enjoy. PS recent studies show that running is no more likely to damage your need then walking…

i think that is probably uncooked rice. i tend to weigh mine out before cooking and normally have around 60-75 g which is around 250 calories.

Love it.

Just like to wish you all the best and hopefully you will get the result you deserve. TBH I think the chef is just being deliberately awkward and hopefully this will make him see sense.

I normally run 4 or 5 times a week as its my chill out time. Strength training has sort of fallen by the wayside but going back to T25 next week.

Good luck. I'm still racing - dis a 10k mud run/swim yesterday and got a few more lined up although my training has mainly concentrated on the running part the last few months as have also signed up for a couple of half marathones.

Nakd Bars and I also buy propercorn in bulk as they are both gluten free and also fit in with all my allergies. Will look at the rice as it sounds great if away overnight.

Massive fan. Seen all the episodes a couple of times.

Yes I do. I just take a couple of painkillers and do my normal thing which normally run. I dread to think how my family would cope if they had to deal with me with both pmt and not running,

-8.5 and they knew I was wearing them to run in and no problems.

May or may not be efficient but i love it. It helps my mental health and since running I've managed to get my severe asthma under control.. I'm fitter and look better although I'm still overweight so it has it benefits. And yes the runners high is amazing - the time you come in as you have managed to run faster or further…
