Change up your routine! Isn't it amazing how we work so hard to lose weight, yet we easily gain weight- ughhhhh.
-
Yes! Slowly but surely. I cut down the last two days and already feel better!

I'm right there at "0 weight loss" with you. I used myfitnesspal about three years ago and lost almost 30 pounds in about 6 months or so and guess what? I gained it all back thanks to life and stress. I'm determined to lose weight after having two major things happen in my life. So, here I am again. I'm DETERMINED to do…

Hey! I just started running last July. I completed a 5K in September and just ran my first 10K last weekend! Tons of fun! I'm addicted to BANANAS- they keep me fueled and they're perfect before or after a run. I also recommend a small glass of chocolate milk after a run. Eat something within a half an hour of running.…

I eat a banana EVERY DAY. They are an excellent way to recover your muscles from working out. Mmmmm!

1. Excercise- but vary what you do- never let yourself get bored exercising and plan out the days you will do it. I committed to 3 days per week for at least 250 calories per work out. 2. Eat varied foods that are good for you and have fun finding out and trying new receipes. Treat yourself to a treat (I'd say even a few…

I ran my first 5K a few weeks ago. I trained for about 10 weeks, also. It's an amazing experience! Training for that event helped jump-start my weight loss- Good luck! You're gonna have a blast.

Went over 300 calories over. On my way to the gym to work it off. Wish me luck!

Welcome! I'm new too. I have healthy snack ideas! 1. banana 2. yogurt 3. Quaker Rice Cakes- I like chocolate, caramel corn (both in Minis) and the regular size White Cheddar 4. Watermelon or canteloupe with cinnamon (mmmm) 5. Cut up red or orange peppers (they're sweet) and cucumbers 6. A piece of whole wheat toast with a…

Hi! I'm new, too. I just started about a week ago and trying to figure this out. I'm confused with the "extra earned calories" from exercise. I'm not sure if I can EAT more food because I exercised, OR stick to the "1200" calorie plan. Won't I NOT lose weight if I eat those calories (it just evens out). Suggestions?

I just ran my first 5K too! I can relate. Be encouraged by your step by step successes. What helped me was following a 5K training program. I followed an 8 week program that made me more-than-ready for the 5K. Try that- It might help! Believe me, if I CAN do it, YOU CAN do it. Trust me. Good luck!!

Congratulations! Did you use myfitnesspal the entire time to help? I'm new to this.
