Low carb is especially helpful if you are insulin resistant or have blood sugar issues. For me it makes a big difference. Low carb allows me to eat as much as I want of satisfying foods, and I am able to lose without hunger.

I have one of the sausage and peppers meals in my freezer. Haven't tried it yet. It looks like a lot more food than most of the dinners.

I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk. I eat sourdough bread about twice a month. I try to get most of my carbs from fruits and vegetables.

I think a healthy diet with lots of lean protein, vegetables, good fat, and water will help minimize loose skin. Don't starve yourself and be sure to exercise. It can also take a couple years after weight loss for the skin to finish tightening.

You have a realistic goal which is huge! Concentrate on improving your health. Avoid processed foods, white flour, all forms of sugar. Replace these with vegetables and fruit. Choose leaner proteins such as poultry, fish, and seafood. Use a moderate amount of healthy fats. You will meet your goals and feel so good!

I think smoothies are awesome! When I drank a quart of green smoothie a day, I lost my taste for canned and processed foods. I am eating a lot more raw vegetables now.

Focus on eating healthy foods. Lots of vegetables, some fruit, lean meats, and healthy oils. If your body is getting the correct nutrients it will be easier to lose.

Get a job as a waitress in a busy restaurant. All that time on your feet will help you burn calories and earn some money.

There are some foods that will send you on a downhill spiral. The best thing to do is avoid eating them at all. It takes time to develop a strategy to deal with the cravings.
