Down 28 pounds! I'm on this 100+ journey. I'm eating super clean and mostly whole foods with cranberry detox drink before each meal and bone broth 1-3 per/day, at least 1 gallon of water/day. When I want a sweet or snack I'm having unsweetening coco based yogurt with some berries and cinnomon. When I feel like I haven't…

I use organic veggie based protien choc. powder. Right now I'm using Kos which I picked up a CVS, but I've tried many. I shake it up in 20 oz of water. There is no grit with this one, but it settles quickly. I drink it throughout the first hour or so while I'm at work. I've always struggled with my protien numbers. When…

It took me a long time to learn about hotdogs as kid. There are brands that are fine. Salhen's Orginal is our favorite and has a nice snap. Steaks - I can only eat them when home or at a fine steakhouse with handing a note to the staff. No chains!

I'm in Florida and don't avoid the sun and in the same boat.

Me: 10 LNS: 1 For me it's no eating after 7, unless my calories are way too low for the day and I bring in protein. Just water. So far I've only snuck in piece of my kids cookie when on vacation. It wasn't worth it. Not that good :)

Lily dark mini chips are a great sweet/craving fix and you don't need many. Dairy free, walmart.

Over the years - I have learned, sooo many kinds of hotdogs. Salen's for the win!

Wow - the above list is a list of dairy free junk food. MG1123 I see you posted this awhile back. Have you found any healthy staples?

Cliff Builder bars - mints are my fav. These are good when I know I will miss a meal.

Welcome. It's a great site and app. On top of this, there are some real pros in some of the chats with great advice. I have found that entering food as I put it on my plate or desk, before eating it helps me stay within my goals. It also helps me focus on what else I'm missing from my day.

Please don't look at this set back as a failure, but a lesson on your journey. Most of us have started again or have had set backs. You caught this quickly and are taking the right steps forward. You have learned and changed! I was listening to a Dr on a few tedtalks, the subject was about the chemicals and hormones in the…

By the way - it took almost 2 yrs but my workplace approved them!!! I did look into shielding, but i didn't find a package that would be small enough for what I wanted. Time solved this issue for me. Thanks all. I'm so glad i only have to take my fitbit Onet off now to shower and swim.

I did contact fitbit - it communicates via bluetooth just about all the time. I believe it was bluetooth 2.0 but it was a while ago when I asked. No on/off, no disabling.

I know - I'm all over the place with my numbers. I can use some help also. I'm not doing well most work days. I have question, how often through the day are people syncing with thier fitbit?

This is a great topic! I'd love to see some beautiful colorful dinner plates and school lunch ideas for the kiddos. I'll try to get involved here. It's always nice to get new ideas.
-
I also need fitbit friends. I'm nut sure when to complete my entry on here for the day - in the am?

Weight yourself in a couple mornings after eating/drinking normally again - you'll get back to were you should be. Trust your measurements - not always the scale!

Well - welcome to MFP!!! When you are ready to accept that you need to do this for you, with or without the support of your mate - you will be ready! I've been with my husband for 10 yrs now. We are finally at the point that he knows I will no longer eat unhealthy food and on his nights to cook - he'll actually cook 2…

I'm selling my dark purple fit bit one for $50. (was a christmas gift this year from my hubby - good in theory, but I want one I can wear…

I contacted fitbit - the fitbit one - transmits and recieved. Bluetooth can not be turned off. I emailed them to ask about the new wrist band one - to see if the bluetooth with have the option to be turned on/off and told them there is a whole sector out there that is looking for this function
-
Did you get anywhere with this question? I have a fitbitone that I really want to wear to work. I'm an IT person - I know it's not allowed in unless the bluetooth can be disabled. I'd love an app that would turn it on and off from my driod OS phone or the fitbitwebsite. I've emailed fitbit...

I"m still looking for an answer on how to turn the bluetooth on and off on my my fitbit one. I need to be able to do this - since enabled bluetooth is prohibited in my workspace.
