I use my breaks as time to get my steps in. I walk a mile on both my 15 minute breaks and if low by the end of the day and can not get out, since I have a 4 year old, I walk in place while watching TV. www.fitbit.com/user/26GLGV0

I also walk at lunch or break times... even ten minutes here or there adds up. If I find I don't have enough steps and can't get out, I walk in place on my mini-trampoline in front of the TV. Gotta love the Fitbit "Champ" message when you hit 10,000 steps for the day!

For those of you who don't know how to add friends...I figured it out. I'm sure there's an easier, way, but this works.
Copy the URL of the person you want to add, go to "find friends by email", right click in the email box, and the third item from the top of the list is "Go to copied address". Click that and it will take you to that persons profile with a button to add friend.

I am a new Fitbit user, actually I got mine yesterday. I have a question about the calories burned on my Fitbit. It seems it calculates not only the exercise I do but also my BMR calories. How do you know what calories you actually burn and what to log on MyFitnesspal. Do you eat back the exercise calories? I am confused.0
