I would love to be a part of this group! I just started lifting 2 weeks ago and am eating at my TDEE -20%. I'm doing the Beautiful Badass lifting program and I LOVE it!

I almost peed myself reading this. Thank you!

Julienib - 140??? Oh, and you have beautiful hair!

Thank you! I completely agree, but I still have sympathy for those folks. Today marks one year of MFP for me, and I cannot believe what all I have learned here over that year. Coming in I already "knew" everything I needed to know. I'd lost weight before, I already knew how it worked and what to do. Oh, but wait... It came…

Ok... I'll give you the chile not chili.

Queso is just spanish for cheese...no chiles required. I get all kinds of stuff con queso...sometimes with chiles, sometimes no. [/quote] ^ That should be in quotes. Yes... I know the translation... I'm talking about food wise what I consider to be queso.
-
It depends. Queso has some sort of chili or spice in it. Cheese dip is what they put on nachos at the ballgame. I'm a fan of queso myself. Mmmmmm.... Velveta and Rotel!

I LOVE red wine (except Merlot... gross!) and I drink a glass or two most night. YUM! It is something your pallet has to get used to to really appreciate it.

I would love one if you have time!!!

This one is really cool! Thanks for sharing!

What I don't understand is why you have to go pay for a full pedicure to have painted toenails. Although I occasionally like to go have a pedicure, the majority of the time I just do mine at home.

Go to the library. You can rent books and DVD's for free. They usually have the recent releases too!

I Love Lucy I Dream of Jennie Saved by the Bell South Park Coupling (UK version) Also, I don't think it's a sitcom, but I'm totally addicted to Boardwalk Empire.

For me week 3 and 4 were the hardest and I started to actually enjoy the running somewhere around week 6 after the 20 minute run. It's still hard work, but it doesn't suck as much as week 3 and 4, AND the feeling of pride makes it amazing. I love it! This is coming from someone that always hated running and never thought…

I am on week 8 and I was always hated running before, now I love it. Go slower than you think you should... you should be able to keep a conversation going.... seriously, go slower and then slow it down some more. A beginners stride should look more like a shuffle. Going too fast is why I started and failed C25K about 10…

My 80+ pound Golden Retriever usually sleeps not just in my bed, but usually ends up rolling on top of me in the middle of the night.

I have had three close friends that have had weight loss surgery. For one of them it was very successful, one had severe issues and almost died but once she got past that did very well, and the third person did pass away during the surgery... I miss him greatly. I'm sure the two people in my life that had problems are…

I've always considered myself more of a dork than a nerd, but I do have a lot of nerd qualities as well. Harry Potter changed my life. I also love LOTR, Star Wars, Star Trek, Batman, Spiderman, etc, etc, etc. I am a tax accountant. Was president of Kappa Kappa Psi, band fraternity... marching band for 8 years... oh yeah!

Tax Accountant didn't make the list which I agree with if you look at the year as a whole, but Mid January to April 15? Crazy stressful!

This post makes me so sad. That fact that he "likes you to be slim" and that you feel pressure to fulfill that breaks my heart. If he was making comments because he was concerned about your health, that would be one thing, but just because he likes you to look a certain way is not ok in my book. You need to be loosing…

Wow! Those results are amazing!

After you log for a while the things you eat the most are on your most used list, or what you recently had on your most recent list. So, its just a click of the button. Don't want worry, it gets easier.

It is possible! I am on week 7 now! This was after starting and stopping several times when I tried to go too fast. I've read several places that you should be going slow enough that you can keep a conversation going. Also that a beginner's stride should look more like a shuffle, barely lifting your feel of the ground…

Seriously just brought a tear to my eye. Thank you for sharing that!

I agree with the poster above that said to RUN SLOWER! The first several times I tried C25K I failed because I was trying to go too fast. This time I am keeping my pace slower and am now on week 6! I have now run for 20 minutes straight when I used to struggle with 90 seconds! I recently read Jeff Galloway's book Running:…

I completed Week 5 day three yesterday! I was surprised at how "easy" it was. Don't get me wrong, it was still hard work, but my body got into a rhythm and just went. I tried not to look at the time and was actually shocked when the app said to walk. My theory is that they have you jump from 8 to 20 to push you and to make…

I like Old Navy's Sweetheart jeans. They are made for those of us with bigger hips/thighs and smaller waists.

The coolrunnings C25K app is good. Also I love their website!
