Do you actually enjoy it or do you drink it because it's what they do on TV, i.e. Cougartown and you want to be part of the "in" crowd?

Scientific evidence would say the latter.

I try really hard to like it, but I haven't found one yet that is drinkable.

If I can drink it straight from the bottle the second I bring it home with no refrigeration required I love it.

ETA: If you look in my diary it's the only drink I consume that contains calories so therefore it must be awesome if I'm willing to make that sacrifice.

Because my wife likes it. Sometimes I drink scotch, sometimes red wine. I've never given a sh&t about what other people do or why.

I think your scientific evidence is FOS.

I like red wine, and white wine, and sangria, etc.

I drink it because I like it... I don't even have regular channels on my TV. We have Netflix and I mostly only use it to watch Doctor Who, LOL!

I LOVE red wine (except Merlot... gross!) and I drink a glass or two most night. YUM!

It is something your pallet has to get used to to really appreciate it.

I love it too particularly a decent Pinot Noir but a cheap and cheerful Shiraz will also do

it makes me tired and stains my teeth.

only time i drink is when i am out being social and having a good time. the LAST thing i want to drink in that situation is red wine.

I like it if it's really dry. As a childfree, relatively cool 36 yr old being anything like the characters on Cougartown would scare the crap out of me. Just no.

A lot of red wines don't taste nice to me.

But I just found a 2009 Syrah from a local vineyard (J. Fillippi) that is so damn delicious. I really like it and it is surprisingly affordable, only about $9/bottle!

I'm fairly new to red wine... but I tend to really enjoy Spanish reds like Tempranillos. ...but lots of reds are too bitter for me to drink.
