Great attitude. Might I suggest to make Sunday mornings your weigh in? Pretty much lower in the morning than at night. I know that if you weigh at the same time every time, it really doesn't matter because you are looking at changes. But it is somehow more psychologically satisfying (to me, at least). Best of luck!

I don't believe for a second that you lose more weight by eating more food. I do believe that people don't log accurately and THINK that they lose more weight by eating more food.

It all depends on your height, weight, intensity, time, etc. Use the MFP activity burner as a guide only, as calorie burn estimates tend to be off. Can't agree more. Though I do bike, swim, and other things, walking is still my primary form of activity (at 4mph). It is easy and you can do it anywhere! How great is that?!

If you want to lose weight, you don't want to take in enough calories to live on. You need to create a deficit in order to use your body fat. It is up to you to decide how much of a deficit you can live with.

NO. NO. NO. Your body does not hold into fat and neither are you in starvation mode. Jeez, when will people get over this ridiculous lie? Try accurately logging your food and keeping to a reasonable deficit for a few weeks? Then re-evaluate. Be warned, you must be HONEST with yourself for this method to work. Good luck.

I have to 2nd this. No offense to anyone, but I don't get the "I can't stop" excuse. Of course you can, if you want to stop, you stop. Maybe it takes therapy, maybe it takes talking with a friend. But only you can do or not do anything. Time to lace up the big girl shoes!
