Measurements give a more accurate picture of your weight loss than the scale. I haven't "lost" any weight in weeks, but I'm down in inches.

When I make a roast in the crock pot, all I add is the meat, veggies and a jar of horseradish. So GOOD!!!

I found that as I increased the intensity of my workouts, I had to also increase my carbs. Although I still try to stay right around 100 grams a day. Good luck, hope you find what works for you.

Again not a man but Tosca Reno didn't pick up her first dumd bell till she was 40, and look at her now!! Also check out bodybuilding.com, I read an article about lifting after 40. And your co-worker is an idiot!! I have definitely put on some muscle since I started lifting and (god I hate to admitt this) I'm over 40.

Just an FYI, as you get closer to your goals you will have to start adding back some of your exercise cals. When your weight loss stalls out try upping your cals to get it moving again. Good luck on your journey!

I got mine at Sam's Club......Pure Protein plus, about $19. It has a good amount of protein, low carbs and not too high in sugars. Tastes really good, too. OH, I love the new profile pic, soooo pretty!
