I have PCOS and endometriosis. I have successfully lost over 2 stone (28lbs) and kept it off (with some fluctuations after holidays, Christmas, etc.). It has certainly not been a quick journey, nor has it been linear. I count my calories (I've never gone below 1500 a day), I move my body and I stay patient. If you want…

My routine used to be up at 5am, workout, shower, get ready (feed the cats, make sure hubby is up, daughter is getting ready for school, etc.) then I leave at 7am to get to work for 8am (I like to grab the free breakfast and cup of tea in the canteen before I start officially at 8.30am). At the moment, I'm up at 6am,…

I'm a swimmer who is looking to transition to triathlon. I completed a 5k swim in April and started looking for a new challenge almost immediately. There is a novice triathlon in September that I think I might aim for. Any tips, support, etc... greatly appreciated.

I hate couples who swim together; not go to the pool together but swim side by side, SLOWLY, and then after every length having a chat, kiss and cuddle. Then having the nerve to moan at me because I pay to swim and choose to do so in an orderly and constant fashion.

Balls, didn't work.... will try again later. I have a backpiece of a Chinese Goddess and a half sleeve of a rooster (my daughter was born in the year of the rooster... it's not because I really like chickens) You might just be able to see it in my avatar picture.

I work in a primary school and I normally keep covered up (a back piece and a half sleeve). However if it's a particularly hot day (not that often here in UK) I will wear a short sleeve t-shirt and I've had no complaints yet. It's actually quite funny when I see any of the kids or their parents out of school... I'm always…

Only 20 minutes in the pool this morning but 1k before 6:30am can't be bad.

It took me 2 years to lose weight because I have tried to do it by making changes that I know I can keep up. I have changed my diet to much healthier choices but if I fancy a curry at the weekend then I will have one. I exercise much more regularly but it's mostly swimming (I used to swim for a club years ago) and then the…

I'm 5'6 and trying to lose the last 10-15lbs. I'm also aiming for the "fit" look as opposed to the "small boobs, big bum" look.
-
I prefer to exercise in the mornings as I feel ready for the rest of the day however I fit it in whenever I can... sometimes I'm up at 5am for a swim and other times I have to wait til after work.

Hello from Essex... all adds welcome!

I'm 5'6 and currently 144lbs after losing 24lbs over the last year. I was hoping to get to about 140-135lbs (and keep it off of course). Feel free to add me :)

Hello from Essex. Lost 24lb so far, just the last push to lose about 5 more pounds... I'm happy to share my experience as well as get shouted at when I'm feeling weak (chocolate biscuits in the staff room are my enemy) :)

I try and squeeze in exercise anywhere... If I have 5 minutes to spare then I try some tricep lifts or 10 crunches. When I first started I would also try to combine my fave TV show and some exercise. I would place my exercise bike, hand weights or my Wii fit step in front of the TV and just go for it. Bit hard to do that…
