I would like to lose around 20-30lbs and get to my goal of 170-180 ( it depends how I feel and how my body looks at that weight).

When I said I had around 8 weeks off, it's normally because of holidays. I went on holiday at the beginning of June and again in the middle of July and I couldn't stay on track during that period for some reason, I just lost all my motivation. I wasn't eating terribly but I definetly was eating maintenance calories at…

Sorry, my starting weight was 231.7lbs, I'm currently 204lbs, and I want to get down to about 175-180lbs. I'm about 23% body fat (roughly)' I'm 18 years old and about 5'11'

No, i just mean for someone who's lifting and on a calorie deficit does that seem like an okay loss for 12 months, it seems a little low to me? :)
-
I'd like to get around 10-12% and I'd say I'm probably around 20 % right now. But that's just a guess lol

My calorie intake is at a 20% reduction from my TDEE, not 10% which would be 250 less a day. I don't really have cheat days much, maybe once every few weeks normally. Maybe I'll get some blood tests done to just check everything is OK. It is frustrating because I'm losing it so slowly, which I know May be better in the…

Hey! I'm an 18 year old guy from England. No kids and no partner. I started trying to lose weight around November 2013, and I've lost 25lbs so far. My main reasons for wanting to lose the weight is just general stuff, for the health aspect,, to feel confident in my own body and to make the most of my younger years without…

Even though I'm a guy I'm in! Feel free to add me :)

I found it easy to begin with also, I'd say I only started to struggle at the 5 month mark when I was going off track a little and I kinda just kept jumping up and down on the scale by 1lb for about 6 weeks, but it was more frustration than anything. I wouldn't say it gets harder, the hardest part is the mental side and…

Yeah I mean, I'm at a deficit and I'm good at sticking to it, but I wanna aim for 2lbs a week so I'm doing 30 minutes of cardio a day and hoping this will help? I eat good food, I have cut a lot of sweets and chocolate out my diet and now eat a lot of fruit and most meals are either meat or fish (or something along those…

Yeah I know, I have no confidence at all, I think I'm just gonna force myself to go in, plus once I'm in the pool, nobody can see my body anyway!
-
Yeah I'm gonna try and just maintain the weight for a week or two then slowly try to increase it, I normally have 150g to 250g protein a day.
-
Yeah I'm trying to focus on losing weight and then I want to gain muscle once I reach by goal, it's just frustrating being able to lift say 85kg one day and then 3 days later I can barely lift 65kg! Lol

I do weight train but I've been doing this for around 5 months now, I also do cardio about 3 times a week. I am logging accurately , so I don't know wether it's just normal fluctuations or wether I'm eating too many exercise calories back. For 30 minutes of stationary bike I should burn around 300 so I normally eat 200…

If you google realself liposuction it will bring up a website which is basically people reviewing their doctor/how the procedure went etc. you may find it helpful :)

Well I haven't been at college for a few months due to illness, so I thought I better reduce calories slightly as I wasn't really doing a lot of walking, just working out and then I'd eat some of my calories back. I'm not asking this question from a weight loss perspective, I mean in general does it sound like I'm eating…
-
I don't, I switch my cardio up by increasing either time or intensity, and I log everything accurately already. I just wonder if this is too low, I got to college 3 days a week and I'm walking around a lot there, I do acting so I'm stood up a lot and to get to classes I have to go up/down 9 flights of steps. I just…

I'm gonna say eating healthy not clean, but I find it quite easy now because I have a better understanding of it. I used to eat gay I want when I wanted, I wouldn't say I was crazy but some days I would have like 4 chocolate bars in a row, I was more of a boredom eater than anything. I also hated sports so I didn't do much…

I think the main thing is to be patient, I started strength training about 3-4 months ago and I'm seeing results now, my waist is getting small and I'm much stronger than I was a few months ago. I would say just keep at it. Also it's fine not to do cardio, unless you want the fitness aspect but for fat loss, strength…

Thanks for all the help guys, I just have another question; I've done a meal plan and planned out what im going to eat and when and how many calories it is, but im just wondering will my 'body' become used to the same meal plan if i use it all the time? ( I'm quite fussy about what I eat) but I mean in terms of like…
-
Yeah, I'm not going to pay for meal plans, I'm just going to plan my week in advance so I know what i'm eating and don't have the temptation of 'I don't have time/I don't have this ingredient so I cant make this' etc, And I also think it'll help because i'll know in advance what food I need .. for example If i was going to…

I don't use the TDEE method, I use the recommended calorie goal MFP gave me when I set my profile/goals. I also work out (mainly lifting weights and a bit of power walking) around 3-4 times a week.
-
From November 1st to February 1st I've lost 15.3lbs :) I work out twice a week and have a 550 calorie deficit per day.

I've just posted a front picture from the 4th of jan, so if you reload the page it should be there :)

I posted pictures on my photobucket but it didn't work when I tried to put them on here, here's a link to my profile http://s324.photobucket.com/user/itskieraan/library/Mobile%20Uploads?sort=3&page=1 Hopefully that works :)

Yes I do take pictures, but i don't see much of a difference. I think it may be just because I haven't lost a significant amount of weight that I don't really see much of a difference.

I hope so! I think of a stone being a lot tbh, but really it's probably not that much when you think of it lost off your whole body, I always imagine the stone being just from my belly.
-
Thanks guys :) yeah I think it's just kind of the fear of failing, but I'll just continue how I am. Slow and steady :)
-
Thank you! May be less then I hoped for at this point but still, when I've hit my goal it'll all be worth it!:)
