Do some people just find it harder to lose weight?

I've been using MFP for 10 months now, starting at 231.7lbs and I'm now roughly at 207/208 ish. I measure all my food on a digital scale, strength train 3x a week and I'll do HIIT on a stationary bike twice a week. So in theory I should be losing at least 1lb a week, but the results don't reflect that. So is it possible some people just find it harder to lose weight? Any advice/suggestions would be great :) if it helps, I'm around 5'11'', 18, male and having 2150 calories a day. My TDEE Is around 2700 and my BMR is around 1900 .

Your tdee is not as high as you think if you accurately counting calories..you should eat 250 cal less per day.

not really, other than the fact that some people have naturally larger appetites than others, people who have no thyroid issues and are of the same size/composition their actual bmr doesn't differ more than 10%, the idea of a "slow metabolism" is a myth barring certain medical conditions, this of course however isn't taking into account different activity levels between different people which can have a huge effect on their tdee

My calorie intake is at a 20% reduction from my TDEE, not 10% which would be 250 less a day. I don't really have cheat days much, maybe once every few weeks normally. Maybe I'll get some blood tests done to just check everything is OK. It is frustrating because I'm losing it so slowly, which I know May be better in the long run but I should be losing at least a pound a week based on what I'm eating and how much I workout.

Technically you don't have to work out at all if your main goal is just weight loss.. 80% diet and 20% gym seems to be posted on here quite often.

I do half an hours cycling a day and lose a lb a week consistently.

I put in some estimated numbers for you and got a TDEE closer to 3000, deficit closer to 2400 for 1lb/week. So you're either over-eating, you've over-estimated your level of activity, or you just need to reduce your deficit more.
