Am I doing something wrong?

I know this is probably me just worrying about nothing but, I'm 18 years old, 5'10'' and weight 210 pounds. I currently eat around 2000 calories a day, and if I exercise I'll eat back around 50% of the calories burned. But I feel like my body has a pattern off, I'll lose a pound for a week for 4/5 weeks, then I'll have another 4/5 weeks of my body just jumping up and down by 1lb or 2lb. Is this normal? I thought I might not be eating enough because although I don't use the TDEE method, my BMR is about 1950 so some days I'm only eating 50 calories over my BMR, but I'm not sure if that's okay or not. I worked out my TDEE and with 20% subtracted it's 2267 calories. Just looking for some advice, thanks guys

Weight fluctuates and weight loss isn't linear. It's normal. As long as you're seeing a downward trend overall, you're fine.0

water weight fluctuates, weight loss isn't linear, it's completely normal0

If the overall trend is not downwards you're not eating at a deficit. If the overall trend is downwards it's just normal fluctuations0

Are you doing heavy weight training while you are eating at a deficit? If so, and weight training is new for you, it might be that you are losing fat but gaining muscle, which would account for your up and down weight loss. It could also be water retention from training or salt. Try drinking more water.
According to TDEE calculators, you should be eating about 2100 calories a day (but not eating back any additional "exercise calories") in order to lose a pound a week. This is taking 20% off your TDEE to maintain weight. I put in your weight and height and I guessed your age to be 28 and that you worked out 3 x per week.
Also, if you are not weighing and measuring your food, you may be eating more than you think!0 -
I do weight train but I've been doing this for around 5 months now, I also do cardio about 3 times a week. I am logging accurately , so I don't know wether it's just normal fluctuations or wether I'm eating too many exercise calories back. For 30 minutes of stationary bike I should burn around 300 so I normally eat 200 calories back, maybe I'll eat 100 back and see how that is.0

It's going to be all over the place. Your body holds on to water at different rates, and it holds on to different other things at different rates. It's not a car where you know you have to put in a quart of oil after so many miles.0
