Lunges, squats, pull ups, all the real basic stuff can help build up the strength of your all around body. I would say go for some intense endurance training for the stuff you wanna do though. You'll build muscle doing it, but it'll be more functional.

The only info I had to put in was my age, and whether I was male/female. My heart rate seemed to change appropriately..when just driving in the car, I was 78ish, when I was out longboarding I was 130-140 and when I stopped it worked its way back down.

There was nothing for longboarding I could find on MFP. But if I just type 11min into the cardio box it says 70cals.

Hey guys, names Steven. I'm 5'8 and about 172. I started at 190 (was in soccer season at the time), my highest ever being 205 I think. initial goal was 170, but we're gonna switch it to 165 I think. It'll be the first time in my life I've had a beach body and I can't wait.

I've only done one session of it, but it was a good sweat. I'll be adding it in as my cardio while I still go to the gym daily.

I do the Amplified wheybolic 60 from GNC (I work at GNC..) and I'm a huge fan of Banana cream, Cookies and cream, and strawberry. All very doable. The fruit punch is disgusting. I've also tried like 20 different bars..our pro performance cookies and cream are hands down the best tasting..I also like the muscle milk light…

Thanks, I appreciate it. My goal was initially 170, but I've realized now I'm still too flabby and only 2lbs away from the original goal so I'm thinking maybe 165.

Anyone else thinking of a good number for me? I'd like to continue using this site to track my calories..but if I don't know where the goal is, it may lose its draw. Again, I was getting results most of the time..I'd do 5 or 6 days with very little fluctuation and then bam..down an LB or two. Never more than 2 though.

I agree it seemed excessive when i looked up my stuff and realized i was cutting out that much. I mean i have been getting results, not 3lbs a week though.

I was thinking 5'8 170. Now I'm thinking I might have to go to 165. I got as low as 173 today and still need to lose the lower belly fat.
