  • This is also my problem, that is why I have taken up intermittent fasting, although it's not for everyone. I fast 2 days a week (more or less if I want) from about 3 in the afternoon until about 11 the next day. I am then generally eating good things, but lots of it of course because I'm ravenous, so I stock up on veggies…
  • Woah! You are looking hot!
  • If you're strength training you really need to be changing those carbs to protein. I am weight training and I'm finding that eating 5 times a day is working for me. It's rare I feel hungry but I eat to feed my muscles, otherwise I'm never gonna get that six pack I want. Typically I have scrambled egg whites and wholewheat…
  • I love peas or sweetcorn in it, I like the little bit of sweetness it gives.
  • They're just called jump squats
  • I can't imagine keeping up that pace for that long! I'm still proud of how far I've come though with my running and it's like I say, it doesn't matter how fast you're running, you're still lapping those on the couch.
  • This would be such a fantastic challenge!
  • I think you would still see good results if you do it every other day but Jillian kinda states that the point of the DVD is to change your body quickly, hence the everyday work out. I would just try it on the first day and see how you feel. You're not letting anyone down by not doing it everyday!
  • I've just had the same problem so I had some organic peanut butter on wholemeal toast with some banana, it helped kick my sweet craving for a bit.
  • One that I listened to today is Landslide, I like the Smashing Pumpkins version and the Stevie Nicks version. One that makes me cry is Perfect by Pink as I have a son with learning difficulties and I sing it to him, because he's perfect to me ;-)
  • first of all, just to let you know, you generally shouldn't be working your abs everyday, they need to rest to see results. Personally I think circuit training, cardio and strength combined, is the best way to burn fat. You burn more calories doing both at the same time- for instance, jumping jacks with dumbells. You…
  • You can do as much ab work as you want but you won't see them unless you just keep doing cardio and losing weight. You can't spot reduce fat. It's worth working on your abs and core though to help your strength overall.

  • shhhhhhh-wing!! lol, you look fab. You have a killer figure in those dresses. I'm truly inspired!
  • If it's really meant to be, then you should be able to say these things to him. I myself said these exact things to my boyfriend a few weeks back and things are slowly starting to improve ;-) We are supposed to be getting married in 2013, but he rarely talks about it. It turns out the reason for this is because he actually…
  • I like to run alone, this is because I'm quite competitive and don't want anyone spoiling my time, lol. I would suggest doing core work as well, I found that this helped me, just seemed to make me stronger. I ran my first race 5k this Saturday and I had to stop about 3 times, but I try to keep it as short as possible and I…
  • to be honest, if I start to think about eating I just go to bed really early. I feel sleep is a massive part of weight loss anyway, your body releases a hormone that aids weight loss while you sleep. It's important to not eat carbs before going to bed as your body can't release the hormone as well, but it is a myth that…
  • fantastic, and very pretty ;-)
  • Jenners that was the perfect thing to do. I'm a runner and I always leave it an hour at least after eating (unless maybe it was just a banana, which is a great runners food btw) and I only sip water before I go so I don't have loads swishing round in there.
  • Depends how heavy you want the strength training but as a starter, the 30 Day Shred combines, cardio, abs and strength.
  • yep, I have to go to the toilet before taking on any exercise, lol. TMI- I pee'd myself doing oblique twists on the 30 Day Shred! It's not too bad when I'm running but I always make sure I only sip at water before hand and then wee just before I set off.
  • It would depend on the pace you were going?
  • Hi guys, I am nearly done with just 2 days left to go. I haven't seen much change in my weight but my arms are more defined and my abs. • http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=267050076663214&set=pu.259709050730650&type=1&theater Hi guys, I'm on day 17. I've lost no weight. I didn't take measurements but I think I have lost inches. Don't know if I'm adding a pic right, but you should be able to click on my facebook shred page :-/
  • I started level 2 on day 9 thinking I would be able to take it. I am sticking with it but I keep putting my weights down :-(
  • Try to remember that hunger is good. When I was well into loosing weight after the birth of my son and I felt hunger I used to tell myself that was my body getting thinner! lol. When you feel hunger always try to drink water first before eating and see if the feeling subsides.
