The key is not to set yourself up for a fall. Start small. Try to give yourself small goals at first like, I will run for 5 minutes without stopping, then up your goal slightly every few days.

It's fine to treat yourself honey, even if it was TWO treats, lol. Remember your body doesn't work in days or weeks so just up your workout time when you exercise and you'll be fine.

Biscuits are also my downfall! In fact me and the other half argued the other night. He complained we had no biscuits for a snack, but I told him I've stopped buying them because I'll eat them, he pointed out not everyone has to eat a whole packet all at once :-(

There are lots of reasons for stiches and cramps, your right in saying dehydration but actually having too much water before you go for your run can cause it (that one happens to me a lot!) You must only sip water before and during. Also you must try to leave it an hour after eating before going for a run. These are my two…

Some people do get thirst and hunger mixed up, when your hungry try to drink some water first to see if that helps. I find porridge keeps me going till lunch, but if I don't keep myself busy I do start to think about snacking!

Hi, personally I do just follow the calories but I do try to take note of the fat content.

I use runkeeper along with myfitnesspal. Runkeeper tracks you via GPS when you go walking, running or cycling. It tells you how far you've gone, how fast your pace, and how many calories you've burnt.
