He is the male world record holder over the 100 km ultramarathon distance, with a time of 6:13:33 (Lake Saroma-Tokoro Japan June 21, 1998). To break that down, he covered 62.14 miles at a 6:01 pace."

I can't imagine keeping up that pace for that long! I'm still proud of how far I've come though with my running and it's like I say, it doesn't matter how fast you're running, you're still lapping those on the couch.0

love the above comment... I agree, wouldn't be able to sustain that or that distance....yet! But am not bad, do 10Km runs on an evening and love it! Anyone else get that buzz when you finish or pass a new milestone such as a little bit faster or a harder run within a really decent time!?0
