SW: (Starting weight) 187.6 (June 2012) CW: (Current weight) 170.2 GW: (Goal weight for the month) 165 Weigh in Dates: 1/1 - 170.2 1/8 - 1/15 - 1/22 - 1/28 - End of Month I'm starting again after what has been a truly horrific 2013 where the diet went out the window. The goal is to just to be healthier and fitter by the…

Good question. I'd be tempted to change my original weight on here +5lbs - under check in, edit previous entries, then update current weight. That way I'd still be showing that I'd lost 5lb, thus motivational, but would also be accurate current weight :-) Also if your digital measures body fat and water, start logging…

This. Try another month where you eat more GOOD food, veggies, less of the chicken wings etc, drink 8 glasses of water a day then come back to us. It does work.

Dogs all the way. Any size. Cats are okay for a quiet stroke but dogs are there to cuddle
-
With the app throughout the day - so easy to 'forget' what I've eaten otherwise!
-
Good question - I'd like to know too - all my friends so far have just said work through it (as I hobble with calf pain!)

<<< This old lady was called Roxy by her previous owner but we renamed her Rosie. She also answers to: Rosebud Horsie Pookie Pickle Chutney.. I suggest Horsie!
-
Switch to salads instead of carbs at lunch, up your water, strictly no treats and plenty of exercise!

<<<< This little lady refuses to eat anything remotely veg related so has Bakers Meaty Meals - chicken or beef. She used to have chicken and bacon dog trays but now can't stomach them - she will however shake with excitement when faced with real meat!…

My advice would be to add friends - they're the best motivator :-)

Definitely not!

Do what I do - skirts, tights and boots. I'm an hourglass shape so standard sizes never fit me properly and skirts are much more flattering on my thighs

I too weigh daily - I log when the number goes down - if I were to do it weekly I think I'd be demotivated as it could be on a bloat-day. Any form of graph is good for me too
-
Not necessarily! I tend to look at my weekly average so it works out eventually. The scales might read higher but I wouldn't worry about it - just do better today. Lots of water will help reduce any bloat too. If I were you, I would log religiously, good AND bad. This has to be maintainable long term so it's about cutting…

Hahahaha. You've given me something to do this weekend! :-D

Just reminded me of someone telling me of seeing something similar "like an eye patch on a whale" :-D
-
Hi Nat The best bit of advice I would give is to add friends on here, open your diary and read others and log religiously! Good luck :-) Lou

This just makes me think I should move to Tonga..

I've got a wedding to go to in late September, which I don't really want to go to as the bride and groom were rude to me and the bridesmaid is a cow too. Unfortunately I have to go as groom and bridesmaid are future in laws! I'm very unforgiving so I want to go and know that I look better than them all.. :-D

My accent I would describe as generic English. I was born in the South East but brought up just outside Liverpool. The broader Southern tones I appear to have dropped but even after 20 odd years I don't sound like a Scouser (they just think I'm posh!)
-
I wouldn't worry - I got told the same when I was 18. Now I'm 29 I got told I look 17... :o)

Hi, just had a look at your diary. What jumps out firstly is the biscuits - do you really need 5? Obviously you're having a decent lunch and dinner but not really breakfast most of the time - I'd suggest having a more filling breakfast might help stop the snacking. I assume this is a long term plan with a lifestyle change…
-
It's difficult as we can't see your diary but could be that you're not getting enough water and so have water retention?

Count me in!!

Too many to list: - I hate buttons and by this I mean the ones on shirts. I won't buy clothes with them on. Not so much phobia, I just find them visually abhorrent. - I was invited to join Mensa when I was 14. Since then I've not felt I needed to prove myself. Or I'm just lazy. - I am allergic to broccoli - I may have a…

Firstly, it's drinking of the over 18 kind here! I'd recommend amaretto - with orange and/or cranberry juice it tastes like fruit juice but with a nice warm feeling :o)
