I'm 31 and always looking for more encouragement. I've just gotten back on MFP after six months off.

Conference realignment is the worst. I have lived in AL and TN for 6 years now, so I am going to have to go with the SEC. For the record, I grew up in NC / attended an ACC school and my husband grew up in PAC land and went to Texas, so I feel like I am pretty impartial.

I would listen to your body. Some people prefer walking intervals throughout longer races, others don't! I'd work more on distance. Alternate longer and shorter runs and grow your longer runs out to 10k, something akin to http://halhigdon.com/training/51122/10-K-Training-Guide-Novice-Program

I am going to try for 2000, again. I fell woefully short last week, but no more excuses!

In for 2000 -- my first time trying this!

Another vote for real BACON!

I'm in!

I'm new to running too and enjoying C25K. I have never enjoyed running before (it felt like punishment) and I have started to, and even though my knees hurt a little, I am pumped up. New shoes and an app helped!

Love the triathalon idea!

Wow, you look fantastic! Way to go!
-
I need some good ideas, too!

It can last a while. I found that connecting my kids to other kids in the class outside of school really helped them.

That's awesome, Robin! How inspiring!

I am an insomniac too, but I have found that a 12 hour fast is necessary for weight loss for me. No matter how hungry I am, I don't eat in the middle of the night. I only eat between 8 am and 8 pm.

I LOVE the second one and you look great in it!
