I'm learning a new dance and was twirling around. I stopped, but my skirt didn't. Time for a new one!

You totally can do it. It takes time, but you will get there! Take small steps and keep at it. One day at a time! From my personal experience... the effort is worth it. My life changed so much, I feel lika a whole new world opened up for me.

Two persons have asked me to go for a run with them this week. Love it.

I feel good in my body. It's such a weird feeling :)

I had my body composition analysed and the result was... muscular! Me???

I ran on a treadmill and didn't fall off. I am now confident enough to use a public gym.

I had trouble with blisters before. The solution was buying the right size shoes. My running shoes ended up being a size bigger than my normal shoes. First I felt like a clown :) but running is great. No blisters, better stride, faster pace. I have been using the shoes for about 300 miles and it looks like the could be…

I am 40. I have lost 90lbs/41kg in the last 12,5 months and plan to lose some more. Age is the irrelevant number on this journey. The only number you need to know and watch is the number of calories 😉

123kg/271lbs to 83kg/182lbs in exactly a year.

I ran 8 km in the forest (mainly on trails, some off trail), fell down, didn't break anything, found all checkpoints, got lost (twice) and came in second anyway. My new body is so much more fun 😀

Yesterday I tried orienteering and I loved it!

My bra size has reduced from 110F to 85C. Thanks to that I found a lump in my breast. The doctor said that it has probably been there for a few years and was just hidden by all that extra fat. Thankfully it was benign but I am really glad I found it.

I ran my first 5K today. I was hoping for under 35 minutes but finished in 30 minutes 16 seconds. Yay!

I can now run for 5 km and keep the pace under 7 minutes per km. And I have my first 5K coming up in a week. Plus I usually run with my dog, who is now a lean mean fast peeing running machine. He loves to run and is really happy if he sees me putting on the running shoes.

I was stretching my legs after a run and realized that my heel is touching my butt. That hasn't been possible for a long time.

Ran 3,5 km with average time of 6 m 30 seconds per km. Breaking all kinds of personal records here 😀

You need to decide which do you want more. The crap or a happy and healthy life. Wanting to see my kids grow up and be healthy and active was my why. You will find yours.

New friends are always welcome :)

I was asked to participate in a relay race, which is a nsv on its own. I went, had fun and our team placed second. 9 months ago I wouldn't even had thought about entering.

Welcome! Feel free to add me! I have been on this journey for 10 months. SW 270 lbs. CW 187.

Didn't log any food for two weeks and still lost 2 lbs. I have learned how much and what to eat :)

That the old clothes I kept in boxes all these years hoping to wear some day would be out of date by the time I was skinny enough. Oh well... Will buy new ones.

The strap of my handbag doesn't slide off my shoulder anymore.

I find avocados helpful. And pears too.

You are off to a good start. Keep it up. You can do this!

This morning I woke up overweight. Used to be obese for such a long time I almost dropped a tear.

Well done!

So familiar :) You can do it!

Went to my pilates class yesterday. A newcomer asked if I was the instructor :)
