  • You'll get there if you stick with it. I've lost best part of 100lbs (7 stone) already and still got 85lbs (6 stone) to go. A year and half ago I wouldn't have believed I could do it. I do over 10,000 steps a day and calorie count everything (although I occasionally have what I call off days where I go over, but still…
  • I never "cheat". Sometimes I go over a little, but I log it and move on. If I want something, or know I might be bad, I'll walk (my main exercise) before my indulgence. Over weekend (within calorie count) I had a meal with Steak, Chicken & Chips, and a chocolate cake with cream afterwards. It was awesome.

  • Please reply to new post if coming, this one maybe a little quiet to start.
  • Should still be there, I'm not planning on rushing away. Maybe studenty (is that a word?), but lots of other eat & drink there too. Yes food served until late, it's a Spoons after all. Everything on food menu is calorie counted and there is a leaflet available with extra nutrition information too.
  • Whoops, edited above post (Kings Tun)
  • Right, decision time. Was kind off made when I decided to visit family on Bank holiday weekend, so will arrange meet for Saturday 11th May. I'll be at the Wetherspoons Kings Tun from 5pm upstairs in sofa area. I'll wear my red t-shirt & usually have a rucksack & brown fleece nearby. Don't worry if you can't make it if this…
  • FitBit one user here. Used every day for over 9 months. Always happy to have new friends here & on Fitbit site.
  • OK, so replies to all three dates I suggested. Anyone else? I may have to disappoint some people, but I'm leaning to dates in May myself.
  • OK, I can't do this Saturday coming up & maybe a bit too soon anyway. So can you tell me whether any of these dates are good for you? Saturday 27th April Saturday 4th May Saturday 11th May Thoughts? And what time? I thinking mid afternoon unless someone has better idea.

  • Try MySupermarket.co.uk They list Whole Earth Peanut putter and may find one of the big stores who can deliver it closer to where you are. (also great for finding which store is cheaper too)
  • I'm using MFP set at the 2lbs loss a week mark and sedentary for my activity level, then use my FitBit.com pedometer to track my walking. FitBit is set to add calories back which you can use, and you burned them off to eat. 9 months in (almost) and I did 11.7 mile walk on Wednesday (best day yet). I started at 24 st 1 lbs…
  • May seem a lot until you know I started at 24 st 1 lbs 15 oz (337 lbs 15 oz, 153.30 kg ). I also know the hardest battle is ahead as still got up to 115 more lbs to lose.

  • If you check goals here http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/my_goals & see what your "Daily Calorie Deficit" is you might be lucky. Using MFP I'm about 1000 calories down from what I need. You might just have had a level day.
  • Sorry for delay, been dark whenever I've been through recently. But, Google Map has http://goo.gl/maps/4zmzl this which is what I remember seeing.
  • Thanks for the comments so far. I've adjusted (finally) the pic so shows here properly. Also happy to accept any friend requests too.

  • I have the FitBit scales and use em morning and night usually. I then keep the lowest for the day, yeah some keep highest, I keep lowest, makes me feel better. Only times I didn't do at least daily were when I was away from home.

  • Cool, Cheers. Maybe I could start a Kingfisher group on here. (Edited this line) Thinking about this a bit more, maybe a Kingston group would be better.
  • When my Wii Fit Board said I was too heavy to use it.
