I decided to rededicate myself this month..I need to loose 100+ lbs., I can hardly move around without getting winded and my diet has consisted of way too many carbs. I am a type 2 diabetic not currently on medication although my Dr hasn’t seen me for over 6 months. I will try to lose 2 lbs per week in June, drink 12 cups…

Can I jump on this challenge? I got weighed today my weight was 242, up 10 lbs since Dec 12th. I was disappointed with myself because I was losing well since Aug and just let it all go to hell over the holidays.

Hope its not to late to jump on this bandwagon, I have been on mfp since end of May and to date have lost 50+, but I still have another 60-70 to go. I need encouragement to keep on track, I am doing a lo carb diet and although some days are not bad some are really hard...my nemesis (white food) keeps calling for me, just…

why not walk away the pounds in the privacy of your own home with Leslie Sansone until you feel comfortable going out walking. There are many walking videos on Utube and there won't be anyone except yourself to judge you. I know the feeling because I am just in month 2 of seriously trying to get rid of these pounds, I am…

well done Frances, I am on that same journey trying to lose 100lbs for the umpteenth time...but I have been on lo carb for 1 month now and am feeling pretty good about myself. First time in 60 years I have long fingernails. imagine I gave up carbs and fingernails at the same time lol. I am drinking almost 2 gallons of…

So pleased I logged in for 30 days in a row...no lying or cheating...yep lost weight the first 25 days and unfortunately the last 5 have been a challenge...but I am trying to get the momentum back and will continue logging in.

well I am at day 19 of this challenge, I have tried to be as honest as possible...I am thinking maybe I should invest in a weigh scale for food. Today I had a cheat day but am still tracking my intake. I plan to reach day 30.

I too am fairly new (again) to this site...I tried it before and had some success but then fell off the wagon and my weight went higher than when I first started. Now I am on day 16 of MFP and have put down everything I have eaten and drank. I hate looking at myself in the mirror and going to buy clothes is sheer torture.…

I love making and eating homemade soup...my chicken is in the crockpot now...I put it in there overnight for my homemade broth and then use it in a variety of soups. Looking forward to trying some of these recipes, will try to submit one tomorrow. Thanks.

I stopped smoking 10 years ago...no let me rephrase that I choose not to have a cigarette anymore...10 years ago. A young friend of mine told me I smelt like his Grampa who smoked the same brand of cigarettes and that was the push I needed. Who needs to hear something like that!!! As for diet coke I had one today the first…

Wow....you look awesome and that is a great way to display your journey. I am currently in those 3X shirts and hope to someday get down to a L.

WELL SAID....BUT WOULDN'T IT BE NICE.

Good luck on your weightloss journey, I hope you keep feeling as adament as you do today...little baby steps will lead to success just as big ones will so don't get bogged down if you aren't losing big amts each week. I am sure you will do it and be even more beautiful for your husband when he comes home. Thanks to you and…

Take a small peice of meat/chicken and then fill your plate with veggies...cooked or raw make them fill 2/3 of your plate...try not to add salt to your food or sauces/butter. Your children will learn to like veggies and will learn good eating habits from watching you eat right not by watching you snack on food as they eat…

Crystal light or just plain lemon added to water makes it more platable...also I use plain green tea as part of my water count. I also like to drink hot water with slices of lemon...I am up to between 12 and 16 glasses/day.

I like my burgers naked...nothing on them except for a bun....yummy, boring to some but great to me esp if they don't overcook the meat.

Welcome aboard...it is certainly helping me to stay motivated and that is no easy chore. I am not sure what PCO's stands for but I do know what it is like to be overweight and I have about 60 lbs to go to reach my final goal...I find setting monthly/weekly goals is helping me and honestly drink drink drink...cause that is…
