T'is the season to dust off the BBQ.....hooray!! I picked up some Veggie Burger patties at Costco yesterday and am looking forward to throwing one on the grill tonight. (Yes I know these things are already fully cooked and I could just warm it in the microwave, but the BBQ just adds that special something.) Anyhoo I want to know...."How Do You Dress Your Burger??"

I love lettuce, cheese, pickles, and green olives. I can do hot peppers and hot sauce too but that's not normal. Maybe some bacon although that really only happens at restaurants.
That's about it, I don't do other condiments.0 -
Guacamole and Salsa!! Just plain...no bun (not a bun person!)0

Now I just eat it plain with cheese, sometimes with ketchup.
When we actually did grill with real meat, I would use either Stubbs BBQ sauce to bask them while they cooked or a mesquite rub, and then used cheese and miracle whip.0 -
gauc and salsa or mustard and pickles!0

I like my burgers naked...nothing on them except for a bun....yummy, boring to some but great to me esp if they don't overcook the meat.0

I use romaine leaves as my bun (messy but still good!) and put American cheese, mustard, lettuce, tomato and sliced yellow onions. yummy, I think I know what I'm having for lunch now!0

I marinate mine in olive oil and lemon juice for a few hours before putting them on the grill. Then as dressing, I put mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a slice of cheese! My fav way to have a burger!
I've seen a lot of different one on here that I may have to try though!!

Duke's mayo, cheese, onion slices, tomato, ketchup :smokin:0

Jack Daniels Spicy grill sauce and lite swiss cheese...no bun0

Baby bella mushrooms, sundried tomatoes & feta cheese.
Salsa & pepperjack cheese.
Barbecue sauce & french fried onions.
Ranch dressing.
And if I feel like splurging... bacon, ranch, tomato, & onion rings.
My latest favorite way to eat a burger is on a Thomas' Bagel Thin. Little less calories & sodium than the typical bun, and more fiber & protein.
And I love baking seasoned curly fries. About 130 calories for a 3 oz serving and soooo worth it!0 -
Oh my, I've not had a burger in months! Now I want one - cooking project for the weekend mayhaps!
I love mine with ketchup, onions, gherkins and a (sometimes) slice of cheese!0 -
I'm a lettuce/tomato/mustard kind of guy. Which has actually been great since I started eating better. On the rare occasions when I have a burger, I don't have to alter my preferred way to make it better for me. I never put mayo on, usually skip the bacon...cheese I go for on occasion.
Of course, when I hit a place like Backyard Burger or Cookout Burger in the South, I really love their chili and slaw burgers! Good thing I don't live near those any more.0
