You can do this.... Sadly, I know exactly how you feel. 800+ days in a row, dropped 40...gained it back. My mantra: log in/be honest/be consistent/be a little better today.

Caffeine....how I love you! I added a cup of coffee to my one-to-two juice meals per day and it made all the difference (I think!). So, if I ever am compelled to do a true juice-only fast (five days, ten at the most), can I still have an espresso in the morning or does that defeat the purpose??

I'll place that in the "other" category! Thanks.

Starvation mode? What is the caloric intake on a juice like I made? Can it happen that fast? And I was not betting on caffeine withdrawal since I am not a big caffeine consumer. Thanks

Most days I exceed my calorie goal, but I walk 4-6 miles 5+ days per week. With the FitBit adjustment I am almost always under my MFP calorie goal.

December 18 update: after YEARS of taking Prilosec OTC every day for acid reflux/indigestion I stopped taking it Sunday (three days ago). So far, I have not had any reflux....fingers crossed!

Any Chap Stick-eaten/lip gloss calories are cancelled by the food flossed out of your teeth (as long as you rinse/spit!).

Thanks all for the happy thoughts!

Walking. I fast-walk (4mph) about 4-5 times per week. I slow walk (3mph with my wife a few more times). If I am feeling up to it, I run 1-1.5 miles a few times. I also bike. I use a FitBit and really try to add more incidental walking (taking the long way to places at work for instance.) I just joined Earndit. They sync…

Thanks for the encouragement. Fortunately, I have been riding a bicycle for the last 12 years (don't ask me HOW I did it when I weighed 240+...!), so my legs are in pretty good shape. The problem is that cycling and running develop different leg muscles. I will have to be careful sand stretch...
