Very normal. Mine were sore the first 2 weeks. Stretch, stretch and drink lots of water. I did buy a new pair of shoes after week 3 because my knees and hips hurt. the new shoes made all the difference.

Congrats! Just did my first 30 min run on my C25k program. was close to 5k. Got my first race in 2 weeks. Were you nervous? How was the crowd? Did you have any head games you had to battle while running?

Hey, i had my surgery last November and have lost 63#. My weight loos was slower until just the last month but is kicking in since i started with MFP and i'm running (doing Couch to 5K). We we are on a similar timeline. Good luck. keep in touch.
