Latest Asian character spam posts all appear to have 119.ME as part of the message header in case that helps folks identify them.

Anyone acting on the plethora of Asian character posts?

Have done many times, will continue to do so. It's one of the least threatening and friendliest places to be.

As an individual currently being investigated for cardiac issues I would concur with the advice above. Whilst it is true that many "super fit" athletes have resting heart rates in the low 40s it is unusual to see that in the normal population. From you feeling the need to post it appears to be giving you cause for thought…

Over 60 pounds gone, and I'm still the fat kid I remember, weird isn't it?

lol ... so much misinformation everywhere ... but, that's the power and the danger of Internet research. As regards powdered egg, yes it is simply dehydrated egg; for those of us that know anything about diet in WW2, powdered egg was a staple part of rations. An Americano, or "long black" is always just an espresso shot…

Having been diagnoised as gluten, wheat, gliadin, dairy, and egg intolerant I know how much of a trial a restricted diet can be. There's loads of good advice above, if I can add 2 thoughts it will be these: Firstly, it takes quite a time for your taste buds to adapt to new / different flavours and also to adapt to the…

Exactly what Riff1970 says above. Over 60 pounds down with just that principle.

I really dislike getting drawn into this kind of thread. Let's face it, language is different for all sorts of reasons including, education, phonics, location, colloquialism, slang and a number of other reasons. However, and at the risk of starting World War 3, the clue should be in the name. It is "English" as spoken in…

Still not fixed for me. An outage of more than 3 days is a bit much!

I'm a real fan of swimming. I think part of the blame can be put on the culture of health and safety, and all the misconceptions about the transfer of bugs in water. Add that to the lack of family friendly / frequency of cost prohibitive pools and you can start to see why it has been in decline. Here it's a lot easier with…

Actually, Fitbit does not work on arm movement. See the article here: http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/How-accurate-is-my-Charge Have used both the One clipped to my belt and the Charge on my wrist (at the same time) and the difference in a daily total is less than double digits for me.

You can add my 80 pounds. Now in maintenance mode, and happy to add folks as friends if they log regularly.

Haven't had an update, but not syncing either. #frustrated #unhappycustomer

With all due respect, this post is propounding absolute garbage. There's more likely hood of injury / muscle strain using just a basic down push at any reasonable intensity ... Muscles and joints such as the knee are designed to be exercised in both motions, hence the opposite contraction and stretching of the opposing…

Aside from the "getting used to them" phase they're superb. As a newbie you can get pedals with clips on one side and a normal pedal on the other. That helps when you just want a quick pedal to the shops and don't want to kit up, and also helps you get used to the change in pedal pattern. You'll soon be in full clip mode…

I have been gluten, dairy, and egg free for nearly 2 years now. Not full blown coeliac, but sufficiently severe intolerances to make the change necessary. In my humble experience there is no bread like that containing gluten, so I rarely eat bread ... But I don't miss it. There's sufficient dairy free choices of spreads so…

I don't use the gym, but definitely shower after swim training. Gets rid of the chlorine smell by using a nice lemon and tea tree oil shower gel, and allows me to rinse the trunks out. Separate stalls but without doors, but who gives any thought to it? It's only a way of getting clean and ready for the outside world.…

Right now? It's non-existent :)

Totally agree with the above. The other thing to remember is this. The calorie burn from walking 3 miles is the same as for running 3 miles. The differences are that running gets it done quicker, and the residual calorie burn whilst the body is cooling down is greater if you run (so the articles say). Is it worth it at the…

That has got to be the best response on this topic. You should care less about what others think than about your wellbeing (easy said, but not so easily done I appreciate). For me I still have the impression that people see the old me when they see me with a shirt off or in swimmers. But now I think ... "I don't care about…

Actually that HRM is only "water resistant" not waterproof. If you check the standard that is applied to it that refers to the item being static, at constant depth (usually 5m), in static water, and without any buttons being pressed (or other movement), and for a limited time period. It also says clearly in the literature…

What? This old chestnut again? Please do not think I am anti-US, because I'm not, but the simple truth is this. No matter what you might like to think, the Internet is not controlled / owned / governed by America / Americans. The rest of the world have the capability to rehost sites and thus the US Internet economy would…

Absolutely right ... If they're under target but with processed food that's fine because within target is the aim, learning "better choices" is often a secondary achievement that come from staying within target. Let's face it, target hitting is hard if all you eat is "junk food". So, for me, an occasional "treat" is…
