Hi Mindy. Congratulations on your weight loss. You are amazing!!
-
Ya'll are awesome! I look forward to hearing more of everyone's accomplishments. :)
-
Hi Lorna. It sounds like you have a full plate. Good for you that you are taking the time to focus on yourself. :)
-
Slralbert, way to go!
-
Trey, I'm glad that you have found a group that is encouraging. We are all in the same boat. The only thing I would encourage you to think about is making sure that you are doing this for yourself as well. Not only does your son deserve a healthy dad, but you deserve that for yourself. You are worth it! :)

Good for you, shballa! 100 pounds is amazing, and you earned that reward! :)

Goal for this week: To move more. I have a sedentary job, but I am really tired when I get home. My goal is to exercise 30 minutes every day, and then work my way up from there.

Astro_katie, that is fabulous! And Jordistsm, I know that is an awesome feeling.

Good morning all. I am in the same boat. 40 years old, 300+. This is my second serious try with MFP. I finally feel like I've going to get this in control. I have 3 kids, and I'm tired of being tired! I have Fibromyalgia, so that adds another issue, but getting this weight off will surely help. I'm currently following a…

Canadijineh, this article is an eye-opener. Just the realization that there are medical reasons for feeling the we way do lifts a tremendous burden. Snowy0wl, I have PCOS as well, and I can gain an enormous amount of weight in a very short time. It is very discouraging. Currently, I am following a low carb plan. I keep my…

I am tracking again, which really helps with the mindless late night snacking that I was doing. I haven't gotten into an exercise routine yet, but that is my goal for next week.

Hi ladies. I am back (again), and recommitting to a healthy lifestyle. I am 40 years old, and married to the love of my life for nearly 18 years. I have three children who keep me extremely busy, but I wouldn't trade my life for the world. I have struggled with my weight my entire life. I have lost so much weight over the…

You look amazing!! What an accomplishment!

I don't find it disgusting, but I do think it is very sad. It's great to be accepting of yourself at any size or shape, but it's also very unhealthy to ignore the health issues that have probably manifested themselves, or if not, will in the not so distant future. I hope she can find the help and the true friendship that…

Thank you. It truly made my day.

What a wonderful feeling! Congratulations!

I am able to get my wedding band back on. It has been several years since I have been able to wear it.
-
That is wonderful! Congratulations on changing your life!

 Best of luck to you. I love your costume!

I kinda had an "off" month, so for July, I would like to lose 12 lbs. I would also like to get more consistent with my exercise. My intentions are to get at least 20 minutes 5 days a week. :-)

Your mom looks amazing, and I bet she feels amazing too.

I have tried it before. It does help to suppress your appetite, but for me, sleeping was nearly non-existent while I was taking this. I don't sleep well anyway, but it was much worse.

Still here, was off track for about 1 1/2 weeks, but back at it again. Up a little on the scales, so back at 60 lbs lost instead of 66. However, I'm not giving up!! I'm still not drinking any soda, so I consider that a victory. Not doing so well on getting exercise like I should. I've got to do better about that. I'm so…

I would like to join as well.
