  • I'm reading that day 3 is very tough. Just completed day 2 today and I'm feeling quite okay. I am noticing however that I'm a bit sore, which I wasn't yesterday or this morning. I'm scared for tomorrow, haha. PS during the workout I want to punch Jillian in the face. I've even cursed at her. But afterwards I'm grateful…
  • I was planning on starting next monday. But what the heck, I'll start tomorrow as well!
  • This is why I hate diets and love myfitnesspal. You're permanently changing your lifestyle. With every diet I ask myself the question: can I eat in this way for the rest of my life? And it's always been a firm NO. especially with diets like these. I saw a study of a Dutch 500 calorie diet recently. The person lost 4 kgs,…
  • I think the best thing to do is to eat like you eat every day. And if the scale doesn't show any progress this week, it will happen next week. I understand that you want to see a lower number on the scale, but I think that by adapting what you eat to when you're having a weigh-in gets you so focused and alert on the scale…
  • Hi, I have no idea about whether the 4 hour walking thing is accurate, but perhaps you could try to eat only half of your excercise calories? Thats what I always do for 2 reasons: 1. You're always on the safe side 2. You eat more than on regular days but still lose more weight :D
  • You go girl! I totally stand by your letter and I can only agree.
  • Wow you look amazing!!
  • I didn't join this month's challenge, but I just found out that I exercised 23 hours and 45 minutes this month!
  • Sure I wanna be in. After reading about this I thought: Okay lets count how many hrs I worked out this month. Turns out its 23 hours and 45 minutes and I wasn't even participating in the challenge hahaha!
  • Maybe a stupid question, but under what name can you find the exercise? If I search i cant seem to find it..
  • Whole-wheat sandwiches always keep me going. Chicken, beef, sandwich spread, light cheese etc etc, you can put just about anything on it and its only 70-75 calories per slice
  • If I were you I would aim high and expect good results. If you're not ready by the time you have the race you could always pull out and join the next race. But by having a goal to work towards you keep yourself motivated!
  • I have something similar: Xbox Kinect with Your Shape: Fitness Evolved and Dance Central. I like Dance Central the best, it's just a fun game that tracks the calories you lose. And Your Shape was fun in the beginning, but now I have to really push myself to do it and I only do it for the calories and to get in Shape, I get…
  • Are you able to ride a bike with your toe being broken? I dont know whether you're wearing a cast etc. And i've never broken anything so I have no idea what its like. But I cycle a lot and i've noticed my legs getting a lot thinner and my stamina improving. And ofcourse there's sit-ups, dumbells, etc..
  • I'm not a fan of coffee either, but in Holland, Nestle has the instant cappucino packages with really nice added tastes such as vanilla or chocolate. Its only 50 calories a package and if you want a sweeter taste you just add some sweetener..
  • Its kinda like economics. Only instead of the production costs being deducted for net, its the exercise. Say you've consumed 1400 calories and burnt 300 calories riding a bike. The 1400 calories are the gross calories, the intake. But since you burnt 300 calories, the net is 1100 calories (1400-300) The remaining is 100…
