I've been quiet on MFP over the holidays but I'm active as well.

My zumba instructor started at 426 pounds and lost her 1st 100 pounds doing Zumba. She eventually had to move on more than cardio but is now down 220 pounds. She is still on her journey and has started a free fitness group within the community. She has also been a featured story on the official Zumba website.

I just completed a 16 week program similar to this one through my local health department. It was a diabetes prevention program. Like the OP, I struggled with the low-fat vs high-carb, processed foods. I did manage to lose a few pounds but nothing like I did prior to entering the program and simply counting my calories.…

Jumping jacks done for today along wth a round of Turbo Fire. Will search on youtube tomorrow for a video on the bicycle crunches and incorporate those as well.

Met my goals with the water until this weekend. Went to the FSU/Miami game and didn't want to have to keep running to the bathroom during the game. I drink half my weight in water just about everyday in water anyway so it should be all good! On to this week's challenge.

Got 3 miles on Saturday. I didn't walk yesterday but did get in an hour of turbo fire. I'm going to continue the walking along with the challenge this week. It's been nice outside and I enjoyed it last week.

I lost 15 pounds total. I do regret that I didn't take measurements though because that is where I saw the most progress. Just started on my challenge this morning with 1.5 miles on my treadmill. I should be able to get in atleast 8 miles today if I walk during my lunch hour. I have been doing TurboFire everyday this week as well.
