Haha! Those are awesome... I can't say I've ever had a bar name.

I'm the same with the FWB... after my last 'relationship', it taught me that that is just not something I'm interested in.

Haha...

Haha... Well Hello neighbor! ;-) You make some Very good points. If there's one thing I absolutely suck at...it's making eye contact. Or even simply noticing others around me. It's been such a long time since I've just gone and done something without my daughter, I think I might look into taking an afternoon, here and…

My moment was when I got my biometrics done at the beginning of the American Heart Association, Go Red For Women, BetterU program I was chosen to participate in. For the 4th time...my cholesterol was sky high. The denial and procrastination ended at that moment. If I didn't fix it now, it was gonna kill me. *sidenote...…

Lol... actually, that is helpful. I guess I'm nervous about falling too hard for the first person I come across (btdt), but wonder if there's a year limint on rebound relationships? If that makes sense? And with my kid... oy, it's just not easy. But as the 40th birthday creeps ever closer...I've got to try or nothing will…

When with someone, I keep it trimmed and/or shaved...depending on my mood. I've not had to impress anyone in a long time though, so I've gotten lazy...haha!

This is going to sound cliche... but until I had my daughter, I was just lost. I had gone to school, got an Associates degree and had been working in the field that I Thought I had wanted to be in. I loved my job, but was so messed up with my ex (my daughter's father) that I had given up...turned to drugs and alcohol. Ran…

Hello... I'm Donna, 36. Single mom (sole parent) to my dd, who turns 5 in January. Since having her I kind of gave up on everything 'me'. Technically, I've been on MFP for...good grief... 2 years. Only recently have I become serious about doing something to get myself back. I've never joined a group here and figured I'd…

I'm not a dieter... I'm just finally learning how to Seriously make life changes. Things that will stay with me forever such as choosing the right foods and making time to exercise. Including my daughter and showing her how a healthy lifestyle works.

Hahahahaa!!! Most of these are awesome.

o.O... wth?? How rude. I'm guessing someone was jealous?
-
Oohh, I hate that. I don't eat cakes or candies so I get weird looks and snarky remarks made to me when someone notices me passing on that stuff. People can be weird.

It's probably because you didn't have a ton of chips or pop, huh? Hehehe...

I will...and I'll smile all the way home too. :)

She must be young.

Kudos!! I've felt the same way since getting serious about 14 weeks ago. Progress is slow, and after a bit of internal struggling...that's exactly what I'm looking for. Slow and steady! Allowing the 'bad weekends' to happen, without guilt because let's face it...this is life. You're right, it's not a race and that's…

It absolutely will move, if you keep it up. I had to pull the scale out at the end of the 12 weeks when they did our biometrics. I had put it away at the 8 week mark (and having only lost about 7 lbs). I just kept doing what I was doing, even had a couple bad weekends in there. By the end of week 12... I was down 16lbs…

I just finished a 12 week program with the American Heart Association. A part of the program was working with a personal trainer, and the workouts we did (still do) were a combo of strength training and cardio. For the first 2 months...I wasn't losing weight! I felt like I was doing something wrong because I was working my…

I have put the scale away... seeing how my clothes are beginning to fit differently (things are getting baggy, lol), is what's more important to me.
