I exercise to keep depression in check. I can tell when I miss a few workouts because I start to get really edgy and crabby. Something about a heart pumping sweat session with loud music in my ears that makes things all better!!

I felt the same way about not posting my workouts on the news feed. I just post my workout on the news feed with only 1 calorie so my friends see I'm still working but then Fitbit can adjust my calories as needed.

I have a Fitbit Connected and if I don't exercise mine does that too. But it does even out and give them back throughout the day. Just get moving and your tracker will give them back.

Fitbit will give you calories for your workouts and also if you add a workout into MFP you are essentially doubling your workout calories. I enter my workout on MFP as 1 calorie and then let Fitbit make its own adjustments so they are not doubled up. If that makes sense.

OP I would suggest looking into Intermittent Fasting. It has really helped me understand the difference between being truly hungry and hunger because I am bored or feeling the need to eat my emotions.
