I've wanted to try pole fitness for years but never had confidence/time/insert rubbish reason but now I've changed jobs and am going to my first class tonight!! -
Thanks for the tips guys! Had my FT4 for 6 months and it has just started reading 00, highly annoying!

That is so lovely to hear!! Way to go! I am currently struggling with week 7 of a c25k and have my first proper 5k in July! Id love to be able to run the whole thing. :)
-
I have a 5k at the end of July, (The Color Run) and hopefully will be done with week 6 tomorrow! THe c25k app is great, and really works, stick with it and dont be afraid to repeat weeks if you need too. My biggest piece of advice, don't cheat and extend the walking periods! Try and do it exactly to the letter, you will be…

Also an FT4 fan here, I wear the chest strap under the band of my sports bra so cant really feel it. I find the watch more annoying as I wear it on my right wrist, so when I bend my wrist, sometimes the buttons press! But, I do love using it.

Great NSv's! I tried on a pair of old summer shorts, that were super tight around the thighs last year, now, they are loose!

I have the Polar FT4, a basic entry level one that does all I need. Tells me cals burnt, min and max heart rates within that time frame. Really glad I purchased it.
-
I have tried.... couldn't even lift the bar from the squat rack!
-
i hated the idea of a chest strap, because er... ahem.. the girls need room! But, I got a Polar FT4, with chest strap and it just sits under my normal bra band and I think it does an excellent job, you cant tell its on to other people when you are wearing it, and I love knowing my own personal calories burnt.

Dear 16 year old me.... and me tomorrow. Start being real and honest with yourself. You feel crappy and you will for many years. You need to get a hold on this before you get to thirty and realise you cant think of one happy memory. You run away from hard work, nothing worth having is easy. Grow some guts and make yourself…

What an excellent inspirational thread! Just what I need right now as struggling to think I'll ever get below 199!

-
What an excellent job, and a fantastic post!! Im still trying to wrap my head around ditching the scales and working on the shape of my body, and generally living well. Thanks for the inspiration! x

Hello Tobias, A fellow UK MFP'er here. Ok, have the chocolate, enjoy it, savour it, then log it! Life is a balancing act, you need to be able to have the things you like, but in a controlled moderated way. Grab some scales, and the MFP app. You will soon be surprised how much 100g really is, and all the calories you can…

Ive heard so many good things about 30DS, and people have had some amazing results...... but im scared! My problem is I think I will be no good, quit within the first five minutes so dont' even bother attempting! But as Jillian says, results don't come for free, so maybe I should just get in on it. Seriously considering…
