If you eat too little you can actually cause your body to hold weight instead of lose it because basically it is afraid it won't get enough to sustain you. Oh and yes the protein is the most important and take your supplements. I got a stomach virus early after surgery and could not eat for longer than usual and struggled to get the shakes down. I lost hair because of the protein deficiency. I would mostly just eat protein foods.

I am 3 years out and can eat about a cup of food at a time. I eat 1100-1200 daily with 80 ish protein daily. I have times it feels like the food won't go in. Dry chicken and rice at the culprits. I do throw up occasionally. I am 3 years out from RNY on 2/7/15.

I have been missing out on posting. Just for Tuesday I will log all food I will drink my water- really struggling here I will do 3 60 sec planks through out the days I will do 30 min of some type of exercise.

I put it in my oatmeal to add protein. I have mixed it with water to make a peanut butter and mix in some no sugar added jelly for a snack. I have used it to bake cookies and breads.

I am 2 1/2 years post surgery. I still don't eat and drink at the same time. You do have to take those small bites and chew well to eat with out choking. I usually have a shake during the week. On the weekends, I do eggs and turkey sausage sometimes. I like oatmeal with a little peanut butter as well.

I went tonight and got my reward tattoo. It is the first one ever. As several said if I have the guts and don't chicken out. I went tonight to look, the artist helped me put it together and agreed to do it tonight. It is a flower, ivy, butterfly design on my hip.

I have reached goal and I am now looking for the design I want for my first (and probably last) tattoo to reward myself for this journey.
