    Just for today I will stick to a 1200 calorie diet and stop eating crackers at night.

    Just for today I will log the food I eat and forgive myself for any slip up instead of just quitting again.

    3.Exercise (ugh)

    Today I would like to track everything I eat honestly, come in under my calorie goal again, and consume no more than two alcoholic beverages (zero would be ideal but my friends are so generous...). I would also like to continue drinking plenty of water, as just getting the sodium-and-carb bloat down is already making me feel better.

    1.) I will not quit
    2.) Get in at least 10,000 steps
    3.) accept that all my bad habits will not change in one day
    4.) stop saying negative things to myself

    1. Do not kick myself for eating the Kit Kat candy bar. It was YUMMY!
    2. drink lots of water (feel headache coming on)
    3. no night-time snack: this is day 15; I can do it!!!

    1. drank all off my water ( iced water pitcher on counter really helps me)
    2. Follow my meal plan
    3. have not cheated.
    4. getting weekend company, need to stay resolute.

    Already met my "Just for Today" goals for today :)

    1. Drank MORE than 8 servings of water.
    2. Exercised for 30 minutes.
    3. Ate five healthy meals (including snacks).

    This thread has been so helpful these past couple of days!!

    You guys are all doing so great-- so proud of you all! I have been doing terrible the past 2 nites, Why, when I know I feel worse when I overeat I just don't stop. The evenings for me are the hardest. But, these 2 days are over so I can start another day, another fresh start tomorrow.

    So, just for today, Friday, 1/16

    1. Do not let the past 2 nites lead to another bad nite. Either get out walking, or get on my elliptical, instead of eating,
    2. Drink water, keep a pitcher on the counter and no matter what---- drink the entire pitcher
    3. Log down everything I eat!!

    I am going to try hard tomorrow to end these binging nites. You guys keep me going!

    These are the things I have to do also. It is so easy to just give up, but I know how great we can all feel this summer if we keep going, and you are so right, bad habit will not change in one day

    Hang in there. You started Just for a day & we love it. You can do this. I also have problems with evening snacks & chocolate.

    2. I will plan my snacks ahead of time.
    3. I will drink at least 16 oz of water.
    4. I will go to the gym.
    5. I will not eat after 10 PM.
    6. I will avoid crackers.

    So it's been about a month since I went to the gym. With my progress over the last few days, I feel ready to step back into it. It'll be my biggest mental hurdle of the day, but I know I can do it :)

    Just for Today (1/16/15)
    1. Drink 10 servings of water.
    2. Attend a group exercise session at the gym.
    3. Eat five healthy meals (including snacks).

    3. Leave work unless I really need to be there. I need this for my mental health.

    Joan I know what you mean about evenings. I get really bad if I am out late working or running errands. For me I just cannot start snacking at night or I don't stop. Today is another day and we can all try again.
