I have been on a roller coaster of emotion for the past week. Had some family drama, which is not over yet. Learned some stuff that I now have to process and live with. t
So very sorry you are going through a hard time right now. But remember, you are important, and take good care of yourself. I am one that eats for emotional reasons, and while I wish it would help, it doesn't. Eating healthy will help you to cope with whatever is thrown your way. But here are some hugs from me, and hope your day today is better.

Today was a great day food wise, but the worst for health with this terrible cough and now my shoulder and neck have gone out and are hurting terribly. Tomorrow is going to be a better one.
Three goals:
1. Keep calories under goal.
2. Drink loads of water and tea.
3. Get some fresh air.0 -

I will go grocery shopping but not buy any 'binge' foods
Drink lots of water
Stay positive
Stay within my calories
Batch cook some healthy meals0 -
Did really well yesterday and accomplished all three of my "Just for Today" goals. Really great to focus on one day at a time!
Just for Today (1/15/15)
1. Drink 8 servings of water.
2. Exercise for at least 30 minutes.
3. Eat five healthy meals (including snacks).

Did very well on my goals yesterday. Today feels like it is going to be a tough day so:
Just for today I will not let the dreary weather put me in a funk
Just for today I will go to the gym
Just for today I will think before I snack

1. Only one time on the scale.
2. Not over indulge at meeting tonight that is having pizza. I indulged on the pizza, but not the dessert!

1. Just for today I will walk during office hours.
2. Just for today I will do minimum of hour on bike.

Just for today I will stick to a 1200 calorie diet and stop eating crackers at night.0

1.Follow my meal plan that I made yesterday for the week
2.Drink my iced water on my counter

Today I would like to track everything I eat honestly, come in under my calorie goal again, and consume no more than two alcoholic beverages (zero would be ideal but my friends are so generous...). I would also like to continue drinking plenty of water, as just getting the sodium-and-carb bloat down is already making me feel better.0

2.) Get in at least 10,000 steps
3.) accept that all my bad habits will not change in one day
4.) stop saying negative things to myself0 -

1. Do not kick myself for eating the Kit Kat candy bar. It was YUMMY!
2. drink lots of water (feel headache coming on)
3. no night-time snack: this is day 15; I can do it!!!

You guys are all doing so great-- so proud of you all! I have been doing terrible the past 2 nites, Why, when I know I feel worse when I overeat I just don't stop. The evenings for me are the hardest. But, these 2 days are over so I can start another day, another fresh start tomorrow.
So, just for today, Friday, 1/16
1. Do not let the past 2 nites lead to another bad nite. Either get out walking, or get on my elliptical, instead of eating,
2. Drink water, keep a pitcher on the counter and no matter what---- drink the entire pitcher
3. Log down everything I eat!!
I am going to try hard tomorrow to end these binging nites. You guys keep me going!0 -

These are the things I have to do also. It is so easy to just give up, but I know how great we can all feel this summer if we keep going, and you are so right, bad habit will not change in one day

Hang in there. You started Just for a day & we love it. You can do this. I also have problems with evening snacks & chocolate.

1. I will stay under my calorie goals.
2. I will plan my snacks ahead of time.
3. I will drink at least 16 oz of water.
4. I will go to the gym.
5. I will not eat after 10 PM.

So it's been about a month since I went to the gym. With my progress over the last few days, I feel ready to step back into it. It'll be my biggest mental hurdle of the day, but I know I can do it

2. Attend a group exercise session at the gym.

3. Leave work unless I really need to be there. I need this for my mental health.
Joan I know what you mean about evenings. I get really bad if I am out late working or running errands. For me I just cannot start snacking at night or I don't stop. Today is another day and we can all try again.
