  • I'm 5 foot 7 and I started almost a year ago at 225 lbs. I'm currently at 185 lbs and I hope to lose 30 more lbs to get to my goal of 155 lbs. Here is a side by side of me at my largest and smallest. Here are photos from my heaviest and then just recently.

  • I still wear between an 8.5 and 9 depending on the shoe, but my feet have gotten slimmer. I now can't wear a couple of pairs of rather cute summer shoes I wore last year. I tried to wear a pair on Friday and almost broke an ankle. Poor, poor me I have to go buy more shoes. :laugh:

  • A big fancy wedding doesn't equal a happy and long lasting marriage. The only thing it truly equals is debt. I've had the big fancy wedding with my first husband and the small wedding with my second. My suggestion is to make the wedding about you and your future husband and what's important to both of you.
  • If you haven't already you should download the myfitnesspal app to your cell phone. It really helps with keeping track of your calories. Almost everything has a bar code on the packaging and quick scan can let you know if you should or shouldn't eat the item. That one app has helped me a lot.
  • Age:38 Height: 5'7" Start Weight: 225 Current Weight: 191 Goal Weight: 155 - 150 I'm eating between 1300 - 1500 calories a day. I burn around 150 - 300 per day, except for days I meet with my trainer where I burn around 700. My goal is to slim down and feel fit.

  • This topic came up in my group training class. I felt strange after everyone admitted to feeling fatter then they are, that I felt skinny until I looked in the mirror or saw a picture. Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks this way.
  • Stressing out over possibly overeating will just lead you down the road of overeating because your stressed. Overeating one day at a party is nothing to worry about. You only have to worry if you do it every day. Go enjoy yourself at your wife's holiday party!
