MyHoney and I actually met on a knitting forum, and while we now text quite frequently, when he first gave me his number, it was all phone calls. We would talk for 4 hours at a time (yay time difference between California and South Dakota). I enjoyed being courted by him and I don't think it has anything to do with not…

I did a Color Run last year and walked the entire way. Most people did. You'll be fine!! To the OP - I wore contacts and sunglasses and no problems. They do a good job of keeping the color aimed at your torso and legs. If you really want the color to stick to your **** like a dye, get the shirt wet first. I noticed that…

I have a friend who took a yoga class in college just last year and she loved it. She has scoliosis and she said that she was amazed at how little pain she had and her muscle spasms were far fewer. Bob, from The BIggest Loser, has a fitness yoga dvd and even my then-teenage son struggled with it - definitely a workout! I…

Then time management needs to become a priority. I raised my son myself all his 18 years, at times worked 3 jobs and was in school as well. I had to leave for work as he was getting up for school during the week. Part of our bedtime routine was to pack the backpack, pack the lunches, and lay out clothes. Took 10 minutes…

This is an interesting question. My gut reaction is why would I want to be friends with someone who has "restrictions" like I have to share my diary with them (this is a generalization, not directed at the OP specifically, just using her example). It carries over to friends in general. I had one who had so many…

My boyfriend and I talk about this often. I think, for me, it's the aspartame (Diet Dr. Pepper after years of Diet Coke) and the caffeine. Something about one or the other or both really hits me. As far as kicking it - I don't think I ever will completely but a few weeks ago I had influenza (the respiratory variety) and…

You have to do what's best for you. You have to live with yourself for the rest of your life. Make the decision based on that, not on what others say.

I am so glad I'm not the only one...

It does get easier - but everyone is different and so will get better at different rates. Right now, I'm walking-walking faster. I ran the first "speed" section once and on asphalt and ended up with bad shinsplints. So, slow and steady wins the race, right?

My boyfriend commutes on a bicycle - he hasn't driven in over 25 years other than when I'm too tired to. He has muscular legs with very well-defined calves (that look delicious when he wears a kilt!!) but not bulky as if he was a power-lifter. However, his manager also rides bicycle a lot and he does look like a power…

I agree that it really does depend on the person. For me, right now? I walk - walk faster. I jogged for the first speed-up section, then alternated walking and walking faster.

I may need to frame this and hang it on my wall.....

He may have been talking about Jackalopes....I grew up in South Dakota and they're a popular legend....part jackrabbit part antelope.
