    Congrats. My father in law did the same thing. He lost 30 lbs and stoppd BP meds and Metformin .. Good luck in the future to stop them all together

    ...and he has reduced my blood pressure medicine by half and he said I could probably come off the metformin for my blood sugar too, but he thinks it might be helping me lose wieght so I am going to stay on it and address it at my next check up in three months. I'm am so pumped right now because getting off medication is one of my biggest goals!

    That's excellent! Keep up the good work. I just got news that I won't need metformin because my blood sugar normalized in time. The docs said that if after three weeks of this medically supervised diet my sugar levels didn't come down, I'd need it.
