I'm 77 and on a redo. A set back is not failing. Failure is not falling down but failing to get up! My goal is 15lbs.

I actually lost 2 lbs and happy for that as month has been very stressful. Hubby in rehab and identity stolen and Soc. Sec. his check sent to bank out of state. Day before his homecoming found out medicare wouldn't pay for wheel chair as he got one and a scooetr 15 years ago. It's all been resolved but life has changed…

Great your feeling so positive. That's half the battle. I say I am disposing of pounds rather than losing them less I be tempted to go looking for them!

You can always check friends food plans for ideas. Best of wishes. It's always ups and downs like life. No one's perfect

Live on Cape Cod. Lots of antiques here. Fun to look but I don't collect anyhting any more except pounds that seem to float in the air just waiting to land. Love MFP and support here. Bought a new scale. Easier to see and records patial pounds. Also got new video with weight exercises. Looking forward to a lighter year.…

The best diet is the one that works for you. I don't like the four letter word diet personally. I like to just make better choices and take it slow. 1200 calories works for me.See about a lb. a week.

nice to see my friends here:love:

75 and not a quitter. Never in my life reached my goal weight but with the help of MFP will do it! I take no meds and want to keep it that way." I plan on living forever. So far so good!" New to message boards. Have started a blog. First time ever for that too. www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/capie123 if you'd like to check it…

"Failure us not falling down but failing to get up." Your still here. Love and forgive yourself. Guilt has calories. "Worry is the dark room where negativity is developed" Not to minimize depression. Believe one should seek help if it lingers!

If you were an alcoholic would he have a problem if you went to AA? Food issues are real and do what it takes to keep on track. Listen to what you think! That's all that matters.

I'm 75 and glad I found MFP. I like the support and the food chart makes keeping track of food so easy. I have 15 lbs to go to reach my goal weight. I have never done it but am determined to accomplish it now! Just started a blog on MFP. Another thing I've never done

Hi, new to MFP but not weight issues. I am 75 and never reached my goal weight so I'm committing to do that here. 15 lbs. to lose! Have been over 200 plus so 155 seems reasonable for my age. This is a great source of support and love the food diary. I even started a blog here. Something I have never done. Poetry is my…
