I am super new to weightlifting as The Man and I just bought a bench but I haven't touched it yet. To he honest I am a but intimidated by it. We also bought me a heavy bag it's going to he just a matter of strapping on my big girl shoes and getting the first workout done... After that I should be great.

I agree about finding friends who are already in shape. I find that they are an awesome motivator. Seeing what workouts they do, and the positive attitudes towards fitness and nutrition is extremely helpful.

On days I workout in the evening I drink a protein shake after, and in the morning I feel so much better. Not nearly as sore and more rested. I am starting Monday... Kind of. I won't be doing the Ployo or cardio as I do enough of that as it is and I am not go ing up the classes I take as I love them and they are the only reason I have made it as far as I have.
