When I am craving a heavy, fatty food like pizza I cook up some lean meat, seasoning well. Pair with veggies. And eat my heart out. Except i don't even end up eating that much because the protein and fiber fill me up right away. Your body really just wants calories. *Edit - did I forget to say don't forget the cheese? :-D

All I'm gonna say is what I know has worked for me. Without watching portion sizes at all or worrying at all about calories, I dropped 8 pounds by cutting out gluten and refined sugar.

Consider swapping the "light" bagels and bread for Ezekiel products. They make delicious bread products that are gluten free and full of fiber and nutrients. Way better for you than conventional bread products.
