Walgreens has a line called de-lish. Their premium ice cream is very good. Don't get the regular de-lish, go for the premium. The base is very creamy and the have a good ratio of mix ins. My current favorite is salted caramel butter pecan. So good.

Yesterday my 14 year old was talking about how some foods were bad. He had 3 hamburgers last weekend (I didn't serve hamburgers 3 times, he was at a Father's Day Cookout and at a friends and the zoo) I took the opportunity to tell him there aren't bad foods. Moderation in all things. And I KNOW 3 hamburgers isn't…

Alton Brown has an entire video dedicated to cooking eggs in the oven. He uses a damp dish towel instead of a muffin tin.

I use it in things I put tomato sauce in. Chili, spaghetti sauce, sloppy joe's, that sort of thing. I use it half and half with tomato sauce. My family hasn't seemed to notice and I feel like at least they are getting some vegetables. Some.

A good place to get info for what is needed is the schools. A local girls group talked to the counselors, found out kids were coming to school hungry and had a granola bar drive. Kids got fed and no names were used so no one had to worry about privacy issues.

I thought dairy was one of my IBS triggers, turned out I was lactose intolerant. I can still eat yogurt, all other dairy I take a diary digestive supplement and have no issues. Which is great because I dearly love cheese. And milk. And Ice cream.

My son is lactose intolerant. He had to get a Dr.'s note EVERY year so that he could get juice instead of milk. I didn't know this until after he went for a few days drinking nothing at lunch since he wasn't allowed juice. I went to the school, and they hate it too. Or at least my sons school did. But they have people…

Bacon, makes me so sad. I have never been a couponer, but have been using price match (no way am I driving all over town to save $2.00) And I just found ibotta. Look it up and try it out, I got $12.25 the first time I used it.

Yogurt, or cheese, or a glass of chocolate milk. I also sometimes have a cup of tea and one of those Keebler 100 calorie packs of cookies. MMM, time for my snack right now!

I had an uncle who used mustard. Never tried it, looked and smelled disgusting, but that is all he ever ate on them.
-
I do this too, or use Polaner all fruit. You can cook it down with some water and reduce it, but that is usually too much work. I usually just microwave it.

I have IBS. I take one almost every day. The refrigerated kinds are the best. They have decreased my "episodes", and that is worth any money!

I made spaghetti and meatball soup with turkey meatballs and it was very good. The texture is a little different, a little bit softer. I think 1/2 and 1/2 would be good. I am going to try it in tacos or chili, that way my kids may not notice.

Notice all the weird peeps flavors this year? I add a peep to my hot chocolate. Gets nice and melty.

My new favorite are the Jazz apples. Here they are almost $1 more per apple, so I usually go for the Gala.

I re-sell mine. Then I have "credit" to buy in-between clothes. Hate buying pretty new clothes and then they are too big. This way, I have clothes that will fit instead of stuffing myself into too small or having huge ones hang off me.

That is true, sorry for any misinformation. Wonder if the new nutrient labels in the US are going to address this issue?
-
They can legally say that food has zero calories on the nutrition label if it has less than 5 per serving. So if you are eating an entire jar of pickles or something else that has zero on the label, beware those calories will add up.

Swai is also a mild fish that is reasonably priced. Other good ones are mahi mahi and orange roughy. Halibut is a lovely mild fish that is firm and the steaks are thicker than the tilapia or others, it is quite pricey though. These are all mild tasting, I hate strong flavored fish, and I can eat all of these and enjoy them.

This is me also. All I have heard that is good is swimming. Since I do not have a pool, and live in an area where there are not many public pools, this is difficult. Looking forward to hearing responses.

Wal-Mart is where I get mine too, inexpensive Hanes brand.

My 17 year old son has PDD-NOS which is quite similar to Asperger's. So while I can't totally understand how you feel, I understand what kinds of feelings you are having. Glad you got properly diagnosed though, sounds like it was hard for you.

I follow the 5:2 plan, which is 500 calories only two days a week, eat regular the other 5. Aim for TDEE. I love it. I have lost almost 20 pounds and my blood pressure is 115/84. Before I was borderline high blood pressure. I find it easy to follow, and can change which days I fast which is nice if I have lunch meetings or…

Have you tried Lact-Aid? I love milk and was so sad when I realized that was causing all my digestive issues. I love milk, and cheese, and yogurt. I take one or two before anything dairy, and I have no issues anymore!
-
I had a cupcake last night. After my pasta. And washed it all down with some chocolates. :)
-
I do 5:2, but on my fast days I eat one meal in the evening. I find that if I eat a meal I get hungrier during the day. This way, I eat with my family and go to bed full. Win Win
-
I do the 5:2 plan. This plan allows for 500 calories on fast days. Yes, I chew gum, yes on fast days I count it. I chew gum other days too, but I don't count it on those days.

Thank you! My son has high functioning Autism. I did not give it to him by vaccinating him, I am not making him worse by letting him have gluten and GMO's and pretty much what he wants to eat (within reason), and I am not going to buy your ISAGENIX crap to "heal" him. rant over

I take probiotic capsules. i get them from my pharmacy, you have to ask for the ones in the fridge and keep them refrigerated. No calories (or a least very few) that way.
