No hissy fits in this house  The reason I posted was to look for compromise meals, If need be I don't mind cooking two meals , it wont ruin my day, but I do all the cooking in the house so it would be nice to be able to make something healthy that everyone can eat and enjoy. I'm neither a parent or a step parent and…

Re boyfriend point taken! Im still figuring insanity out. I've eaten back some of my exercise calories though haven't found that I am starving and seem to have lots of energy. Im weighing in tomorrow so will see. If I become lethargic and cant get through the workout/see a reduction in stamina I will have to reconsider how…

Thanks, that's a really good idea (don't know why I haven't thought of this!) as I usually plate everything up. Take it or leave it comments are appreciated, though generally I think it is nice to be able to do lots of different food so the food ideas are really welcome!

Unfortunately due to their ages it has been learned behaviour for 15 and 17 years. It is also difficult to 'educate' someone else's children without stepping on parental toes. Thanks for the food suggestions so far, very useful!

I found I get a better work out on the treadmill but am more likely to do it regularly on the cross trainer as its not so hard on the knees and generally feels a bit easier!! I hate cycling so not a bike fan :/ Know you cycle a lot already 2xrta4xm so would you need an indoor one? Having something different indoors would…

I had shredded chicken and chopped sausage mixed with low fat bolognaise sauce and pasta shells topped with low fat mozzarella, baked in the oven :)

I use the shakes and really like them, they are super yummy with soy milk, or blended with fruit, though I don't make them as strong as they recommend (which also makes them last longer as they are expensive). There are lots of bad reviews about them online but to be honest I have had no side effects and do generally feel…

what do you mean by ridiculous? Do you mean i'd end up building? I dont do that much lifting, I mix the resitance training up and do circuits. Do try and walk about at lunch time, but nature of the job I often end up working through at my desk. :( Ive got Shred, i was doing that a few months ago and had some really good…

Do try and do stairs at work but do have a bit of a problem with my knees so have to be careful, I tend to use the crosstrainer as it has less impact. Have access to a cross trainer and a rowing machine at home over the weekends but to be honest I try and do different things at the weekend so that I dont get bored during…

Thanks guys, I try and mix it up at the bit. Im in an office during the week from before it is light until well after its dark and its getting on for -3 now so outside not so much fun! The weekends i'm out and about a bit more so can try different things and try to get a good long walk in if I can! Im conscious as the…

Im awful if I have it I dont seem to have an off button. I find it very difficult just to eat a cube of chocolate if there is a whole bar there or just one biscuit instead of 5. I also get embarrassed and dont like it when people see me eating junk so im more likely to eat quickly and dont actually enjoy it as I feel so…
