Wow. GREAT JOB! :drinker: I'm newer here. i joined early January. Your goal is similar to mine (kinda) my bday is coming up in about 12 weeks too. 3/18. My ultimate goal is 135 but if I make it to 150 before my bday I will be happy!

OMG! I have the SAME concerns! I got on the scale and it showed I lost 3 lbs. then I got on again i gained it back. i was told by the trainer that the first week you may gain weight because of the activity making you hungrier. I've noticed that when I eat breakfast and workout, the next day I have lost weight. When I don't eat breakfast my weight stays the same or increases. So I force myself toeat at least an egg or something. Is this true for anyone else or something similar?

My goal is 135 but right now I don't want to set myself up for disappointment, So I'm shooting for 150 and if the rest comes off with it GREAT! I'm only 5'3 and according to the BMI I'm "obese" at 180. Hearing that word saddens me so I've got to do something...

YOU CAN DO IT!! I just ahd a baby 2 months before my wedding in 2005 and was a HUGE BRIDE! My friends said I looked like a toasted marshmellow!:smile: It's ok they are my friends! I believe in you! Look at all you're going to accomplish in the next few months!! If you need ice cream, compromise and get low fat!! :wink:

Morning! I gained 85 lbs with my 4th child. I havent lost any weight but I did lose some belly fat doing cardio and crunches, each side I do 50 or so and i do 50 the traditional way. I also do 6 inches but i can only do 20 of those bc they hurt :laugh: it has worked though! GOOD LUCK!

hey fuzzbuzz4! I too have those same concerns. But I did notice that I lost inches from my thighs and waist. The numbers mean ALOT to me, but reading the other comments helps me out. I've even gained some friends to get encouraging words from this site and to vent my issues to. I'm trying to stay positive I get discouraged…

this is my first BL weigh in. I weighed 180 when I started MFP. I lost 3 lbs last week, had an emotional eating day and today back up to 180. BUT, there's always a but, I lost inches. Unsure of how many. I bought a pair of jeans I thought I could fit in June. I couldn't fit them and they have been sitting in my closet ever…

I also snack on granola or whole grain bars. The quaker bars have only 90 calories per bar and not alot of sugar. They help me when I have a sweet tooth or boredom hunger

I am a stay at home mom as well. I used to eat all day and didn't really pay attention to what I consumed. I notice now!! LOL:laugh:

I understand how you feel 100%. Maybe you should measure yourself in the "trouble" spots. thighs, belly, arms. You may see a difference in the measurements rather than the weight. :wink: Don't forget to change up your exercise routine too. your body can become used to a certain routine and is not beneficial anymore. I am an emotional eater and the other day my emotions were everywhere! although I did run 2 miles at the gym and it increased the amounts I was allowed to eat, I feel ashamed and angry!:embarassed: I just needed to get that out of my system and see if anyone had any ideas for me to stop emo eating! Morning Cyber. I too am a bonafide chocoholic! What I do to tame my chocolate cravings are to eat a chocolate chip granola bar from Quaker. They even have bars dipped in chocolate! :blushing: This way I'm satifying my need for chocolate and not feeling guilty about it! Just remember No one's perfect!:tongue:
