Oh no RoseTears, so sorry to hear about your run yesterday! I know how frustrating it can be when it doesn't go as planned. Humidity is hard to run in so congratulate yourself for just being out there. We all have good runs and bad runs and at least this one is completed and in the books. I accidentally posted my run…

I was able to do the trail race yesterday which I was excited about. I really wanted to compare my time from last year since I feel so much stronger. I beat my last years time by 24 minutes! WooHoo! The only downside is the course was shortened from 7.5 miles to 6.8 miles so not quite an absolute comparison but still an…

Hi there! So glad I came across this group! I have my Tough Mudder race next weekend and I am little nervous about it. I did it last year and various other obstacle races (4 spartan, 2 warrior dash, 1 dirty dozen) but TM races always get my nervous. My workouts so far this week: Mon: GRC Fury class, 50 tire flips, 200…

I know I'm strange but I really don't mind doing burpees. So I'm in and I will try to go to day 165 with OP. I did 150 burpees in class today but it was broken up into sets with running laps in between. Is today Day 1?

I recently discovered Kelp noodles. Kelp is seaweed but its clear and looks like noodles. They are raw and you don't really have to cook them. Only soak for about 10 minutes or so. I love adding them to cooked broccoli with garlic, sriracha hot sauce, and tamari soy sauce. Yum!

It depends on where you live and the vet you use. If we don't leave our county in the summer then our vet says we don't need to use Heartguard. We do a lot of camping, etc around the state so we give Heartguard to our dog May-Oct. The affects from heartworm are horrible and very painful for the dog so to us it a no…

Yes, I did the race on Saturday at 12:30pm heat. I heard Sunday was rough since it was so cold. I thought Sat had perfect weather.

WooHoo! Congrats!! I also did the military race last weekend. It was so much fun! I am all signed up for the Tough Mudder at Beaver Creek, CO June 15. I would say do the Tough Mudder! Last year, I completed the Spartan Trifecta (CO Military, Utah Beast, Midweast Super), the Tough Mudder and Warrior Dash. Spartan Races are…

He is beautiful and you will have a great running partner one day!

What a fun one to pick. I have not tried fried pickles before so this should be interesting. My husband isn't a huge fan of pickles either so I may be in the same boat as you and eating them all alone. I will try to make it this weekend and let you know how it goes.

Nice job Hather! Day 2 did well without junk food. My new favorite snack is raisins and cashews. You get the sweet and salty flavor without eating junk. Happy Friday!

Yay Day 1 down and no processed food. I was craving something sweet so I opted for organic grapes. Hope everyone else had a healthy day too!

Bummer I never got around to making Salisbury steak this week. It will definitely be in my list to try though. It's hard to choose a recipe from Skinnytaste since they are all so good!

I'm in! I have 7 left to lose before hitting goal. I stopped going to WW so this will help me be accountable with my WI. Thank you for doing this challenge!

Sounds delicious! Will definitely try!

I'm in and maybe I will be able to kick my tortilla chip habit! So glad I can still have peanut butter though.
-
I know this is not an alternative to corn chips but I love Garden of Eatin' Red Hot Blues. They are non-gmo and made from organic corn.
-
I will try making the gravy later this week and the steak for my husband. Will let you know how it turns out

My goal is 120 with 20%+/- body fat. I'm currently between 125-127 depending on the day with 28% body fat. So I need to focus on losing more body fat and inches.

I am a vegetarian and I usually do all of my cooking on Sunday's for the week. There are a few websites that I use for different recipes: http://ohsheglows.com/; http://www.yumuniverse.com/; and http://www.skinnytaste.com/. Skinny Taste has vegetarian and meat recipes.

AMAZING! You look great!

Yes, that is totally my problem too! I'm not sure why weekends give me an excuse to stop being OP. I keep trying to track every bite even if I am not eating well so when Monday rolls around again I can look back for motivation not to do that again. However, I have not been that successful with this either. I think that is…
