  • i have almost 145 more to lose. i too suffer from this dreaded roller coaster ride. anyone can add me as well.
  • I commend you on your weight loss! What a transformation! I hope you stand proud of your accomplishment. Nice job... Nice job!!!
  • I believe this works amazingly well. Like many others said, just track what you eat, it subtracts from your daily allowance that MFP set's for you. It's great to be able to see how much things "cost" in cals etc b4 you eat them. It's really an eyeopener. And if it's a "treat" your planning, then you just adjust your food…
  • Down 1.8 from last time I actually posted. FINALLY back on track!
  • What a beautiful story. I wish you both all the happiness you deserve. Good job on the weight loss, and doing it for YOU! I thought I fell in love once. He made me feel like I was number one. He would do anything and everything for me. We talked for hours all the time.... Then he took me to Vegas for a week once, and…
  • Please dont make them smaller, I love them. What an inspiration you are!! Congrats on your journey!
  • Nailed it........
  • Please don't let the childish comments get to you. A lot of people can only feel better by making negative comments. God forbid they ever lose more lbs than is normal in a short amount of time. Maybe they'd feel different if everyone put them down when they were feeling great and just wanted to share. There always has been…
  • My weigh in Wed this week is up 2 lbs AGAIN! But I know why. I was out of town Thurs - Mon evening and ate mostly bad bad bad foods. Now I'm doing better for the most part, but it's a bit hard to stay on track all day still. Man! I didn't feel like it was this hard over the holidays. In fact I lost weight over Thanksgiving…
  • Well, the week started out great, as did most days, then I had 1.5 days of unbelievable hunger. No idea why. I was eating the good healthy foods I have been. Anyway, I completely went off track those 1.5 nights and ended up gaining 2.2. Damit damit damit. So mad at myself. But as usual while I was pigging out, the chatter…
  • Hello everyone, and thank you Dee for putting this together. My name is Lisa, I just turned 53 yrs old. I live in Beaverton, OR. I too have been overweight my entire life. I have done everything out there to lose weight, successful on most all of them, but only for a short time. Was motivated, then mood changed and didn't…
  • Today's weight 292.8, Down 4.2 from 12/31 weigh-in. Completely back on track from the holidays. Feel great!
  • Midday for me
  • I recommend getting a scale. I wouldnt know what to do without mine. I find on the food database things are like in grm or oz instead of like a TBS etc. Saves me the time to fig that out. lol Also, weighing my meats and cheese it so so helpful to me. Its worth the cost.
  • Congratulations!!!!! Awesome job. I'm right behind you! I have 1.4 to reach my 299. I know I will break down like you did. It's just an awesome feeling! After my 299, my next goal is losing 9 lbs to hit 100 lbs lost. I cannot wait! Yay to us for sticking to it!!!

  • User name Cuppycat, would love to join the group. I've lost 82 lbs so far and have a little over 100 more. Thank you for the invite when you get this far! :)
  • A good step is to start adding people on MFP and reviewing their food diary's. You can get some really great ideas on some foods and exercises and work them into your day. All the work for job, horse, and around the house all add up. Just start to input what your eating and doing during the day just to see where your at.…
  • Congratulation!! You look great!
  • I think the thing to remember too, that I see people eating is, certain people who want to eat only 1200 cals a day are not eating healthy 1200 cals. If you eat fast food, and sweets, chips to add up to your daily then thats one thing. MFP cals for me says 1700 or something. I changed it to 1200 and I make sure to eat…
  • 5'4" and right now i'm just shooting for 150 and i'd be happy.....i'll go from there when the time comes
  • I use Pure Protein Whey Powder I got off Amazon (you can also find it in the reg grocery store like Fred Meyers). I love the taste and yes the almond milk helps too! I know different people have diff tastes when I comes to protein drinks. Some I've tried and didn't like at all, others have raved about. Just gotta find one…
  • I had something close to what you do for a long time. My periods could last for weeks, or severl times a month with only a few days of no flow. I could just stand up and the blood just ran out on its own along with clots. Also uninsured I was able to find some medical help. The dr put me on progestrone (spelling) if i…
  • I am currently doing both WW and MFP. I use MFP to track my food however. I like it better because I am interested in knowing how all the food adds up for like sugars, sodium etc, rather than just going by points. I only joined watchers again because they were having a BOGO month free and I wanted to learn the "new" 360…
  • You are so right about eating after weigh-in. I've done the same thing so many times. In my mind I deserved it. Wrong way to think lol. It truly is hard to get back on track once you allow all that "bad" food back in. :)
  • I agree with everyone else. That's too little of weight you want to be. You need to see your Dr. And dance is a good form of "exercise". Even if you don't think you do it well, do it alone in a room... go all out just have fun! It's better than nothing at all :)
  • Add me if you'd like :)
  • Excellent job !! My biggest downfall as well murphinchina.... sure hope that goes away someday :P
  • Sounds wonderful! Thanks for sharing
