  • I am not going to toss out my fat clothes. I know people say that you should but I did that once and unfortunately I re-gained all the weight back. I then had to spend a lot of money buying more larger clothes which was not fun in the slightest. I had thrown out every single piece of clothing and it took a long time to…
  • I'm 5'2'' and currently weigh 143 lbs. I wear size 16 clothes at the moment mainly although I have some size 14's as well. I'd ideally like to get down to a size 10 and 110 lbs.
  • 1. Oats 2. Berries 3. Chicken 4. Cherry tomatoes 5. Salad or spinach 6. Chocolate 7. Cottage cheese 8. Carrots 9. Wholemeal pitta bread 10. Apples
  • 'The Book Thief' is the next book I'm going to read, I do hope it's good! I just got it from the library yesterday and will be reading it straight after I've finished the final book in The Hunger Games series. I'd say the last really good book I read was 'The Diary of Anne Frank'. I just couldn't put in down and when I had…
  • Diet has not been perfect but I haven't binged at least. Me: 8 Binge: 0 Yay :) Just hope it stays like that!
  • I just wouldn't comment on it. I had a bad few days when I just binged. I had been doing well after eating 1200 calories for 5 1/2 months but then for a week I ate really fattening junk food and I obviously felt really, really awful about it. If somebody had commented telling me I ought to eat better if I was serious about…
  • I weigh monthly. On average I've been losing around 3-4 lbs a month.
  • I was say it is way too low. My goal is 110 lbs but I'm only 5'2'' and have a very small frame. I think somewhere around 135 lbs would be about right for your height.
  • Try this website: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/ I love quinoa. I usually have it with sauteed vegetables (courgette, onion, aubergine, pepper and tomato etc) and have grilled halloumi cheese on top. I use it as a alternative to rice or couscous so you can have it with any recipe that requires either of those two.
  • So glad I found this. I had been thinking of binge eating one last day tomorrow. Planned binges are the worst :( I don't even know why. It's not like I'm hungry, but just frustrated with everything and I keep thinking that food will make things better somehow. Obviously it won't and I'll feel even worse after. I really,…
  • I would just do what works for you. If you feel like having most of your calories in the evening, (I know most people do), then just do that. As long as you're not going over your calories than you should still lose weight.
  • It varies but usually breakfast is around 400-500 calories, lunch is around 400-600 and dinner is around 100-200. I tend to have 1-2 snacks per day which are around 150-200. Yesterday I had: Breakfast: 407 Lunch: 664 Dinner: 121 Snacks: 188
  • You look amazing! Thanks for the inspiration :)
  • Thanks for your reply. A lot of what you just said makes so much sense but even though I know you're right I find it really hard for me to change my ways. I know, have known for some weeks now that I need to up my calories. Most days I eat between 1000-1200 calories which is leaving me hungry - especially days when I've…
  • Just wanted to correct that ^, 6 stones 8 pounds is actually just 92 lbs, not 112 lbs. OP, I can completely relate to you. A few years back I was in exactly the same position. I had relied on stupidly low amount of calories for almost a year and I too weighed in at 92 lbs (I'm also 5'2''). Then suddenly it seemed I'd lost…
  • That's not bad at all. I have the weirdest body shape ever (according to some sites it's called a spoon shape) and I have a REALLY big waist. The last time I measured myself I was 38-36-42. I live in baggy jumpers and t-shirts as my stomach just sticks out so much, at least yours is flat. I did have a small waist once, so…
  • That's not true for everyone. My goal is set to lose 1 lb per week and MFP says I should be eating 1200 calories. I hardly ever lose 1 lb a week on that amount, usually it's less than that.
  • Hi, I've been doing 1200 calories for a while now. Yesterday I increased my calories to 1300 but it's still not too much more. My diary is open so you could always check it out. I try to eat healthy but recently have been a little less strict than usual because otherwise it feels too much like a diet!
  • I had this happen to me too :( A guy once stopped me in the street to ask me what country I was originally from. He then said, 'You're pretty hot for a asian girl' Stupid men lol
  • The ticker on your page says you are looking to lose 23 lbs, I suppose that is what people are referring to. As for MFP telling you that your goal calories are 1200, that is also the number they had given me. I think most people on here are given that amount, or close to that amount. You can change your goals and calories…
  • There was a time in my life when I'd get full eating 200 calories. Probably I was kidding myself, but I genuinely felt like I was not one bit hungry. I would eat like that for months without really craving anything more. You've only been doing this for a week, maybe right now you feel fine, but there will come a time when…
  • I write everything that I eat during the day in a little notebook that I have (there's no way I'd remember exactly how many grams of everything I ate otherwise!), then during the evening or whenever I get the chance, I'll add what I ate to MFP.
  • I can do none :( Even the easier push-ups using my knees are too difficult for me. I just end up hitting my face on the floor every time lol
  • Personally I wouldn't count it. I only count exercise that I've done at the gym or using workout videos etc. When I go to the gym, that's a extra 15-20 minutes fast walk there and back, but I never add that 30-40 minutes of walking, even though I know I'm burning more calories.
  • I've been doing this since 28th May and so far have lost 23 lbs. It takes time to lose weight, don't expect the weight to just fall off in a matter of days! When I started some days I would under-eat by quite a bit but now I find that I'm actually getting more hungry. I definitely would recommend that you don't eat under…
  • Trust me, eating that less is not worth it! I've done it and it seems so easy sticking to low calories at first, but then there comes a point, maybe 4 months, or 6 months, or even 10 months down the line, when you cannot eat that less and you crave not just fruit, but everything! There would be times when I'd come…
  • I'm 26 years old, 5'2'' and my goal weight is 110 lbs. I think I'd be happy at that weight as I've been that size before and feel now that that was a good weight to be. I'm hoping I'll be more toned and have more muscle than I had the last time though.
  • Deb3129 = looks pretty good. You have lots of veggies which is great. The only thing I would change is your breakfast as you seem to have Tacos a bit too often.
  • This is exactly like me. For years I've been restricting/binge eating. Now, I've decided to lose weight in a much healthier way. I'm still scared that I'll binge though. I've been doing this May but usually I can restrict for months on end without needing to binge even once. Hope this time I just won'e want to binge as I'm…
  • I am someone that restricts to the point of starvation for months and then binge eats only junk food for months. Hopefully will change this now!
